Rona did an amazing job with our wedding invites. We needed 8 invites in total for our city hall wedding, but 3 in english and 5 in french, so we decided on handwritten invites. My fiancé found Rona on Yelp and called her to see if this was something she'd be interested in doing. We bought simple flat cards and envelopes and delivered them to Rona with the wording in French and English along with the addresses. My fiancé made a mistake on the English wording and put the wrong day, but Rona caught it and called immediately to confirm the day and make the corrections. We were so impressed when we received the invitations and envelopes back. They are beautiful and everyone we show them to is amazed. We highly recommend Rona.

Folks, believe all the hype-Rona delivers. We needed 110 envelopes done for our wedding invitations. We dropped them off Tuesday morning and got them back Thurs PM. They were awesome.
FYI, I'm the freaking groom writing this so that tells you how impressed I was. -

Rona is amazing.
She was recommended by another friend who could not stop singing her praises about fast service, amazing prices and quick turnaround. It is all true. She was also very flexible about some address changes and mistakes that we had made in spellings, etc.
She also includes a lot of things that other vendors charge for, such as the "4th line" and dots between the zip code.
So great to work with-and we have been told by several friends they still have the envelope from our invitation because the work was so beautiful. -

The beautiful presentation of hand-addressed envelopes as done by Rona is a must-have for any wedding. Rona is a delight, easy to work with, and really knows her stuff. She picked beautiful ink to match my printed invites. I've gotten so many compliments from the recipients. Besides being supremely talented, she's brilliant. Smart enough to hold back half a dozen envelopes, so when I called her in a panic because somewhere I'd left off a total of 5 invitees ... all I needed to do was send her the addresses and she was able to get started on them right away without my needing to drop anything off. Now that's professionalism. Highly recommend.

I agree wholeheartedly with the comments made by other Yelpers who give Rona the highest praise.
Rona provided calligraphy for our wedding invitations and reception placecards, and all were beautifully done in a "non-traditional" Deco font. Rona even went out of her way to double check -- and correct -- an incorrect zip code I had listed for one of my 35 invitation envelopes.
She's patient, professional, and her rates are indeed very reasonable. Down-to-earth and a treat to communicate with, I highly recommend her services. Many many thanks to Rona!Listed in: Getting married at home in SF

My fiance and I just used Rona for our wedding invitations and we are completely blown away! Stunning is the only word to describe them - we couldn't be happier.
Rona is incredibly easy to work with and much more affordable than other calligraphers in the city. I would recommend Rona to anybody. She handled our difficult gold metallic envelopes with no issues and completed our 85 invitations in only a week.

Rona is the BEST! She did all of the save-the-date envelopes, invitation envelopes, rehearsal dinner invite envelopes, and escort cards for our wedding. Her calligraphy is gorgeous, she matched her style to the style of the invitation, and she is so easy to work with. I got so many comments from our guests about how beautiful our invitations were, and how lovely the calligraphy was. Rona helped to make our event truly special!

Rona my Rona!
I would've have been lost without her! I need 30 place cards done the morning of a important dinner with some San Francisco elites. My job and ass were on the line. I tried a hand-full over other calligraphist in the city who were just way to busy to do 30 cards for me (jerks). Finally I turned to yelp and discovered Ms. Rona. I called her in a panic and before I could beg anymore she simply said "Do you have the cards? Bring them over!" I dropped them off to her and by the time my taxi got back to the office she called me and said "All done!".
AMAZING! I absolutely love this lady, so sweet, so efficient, and does great work at a reasonable price. Look no further than Rona! -

When I was doing my research on calligraphers, I was faxed a list from Paper Source. After calling each calligrapher, one stood out the most, Rona Siegel. Rona is a business woman. Rona was willing to negotiate and asked me a lot of questions to help us strike up a mutually beneficial deal. Rona also followed up with me as I had so many details to think about, she was unobtrusive and very willing to help out. If you have any second thoughts, please do not have them. Rona is as professional as they get, and her work is of the utmost quality and is art.
I highly recommend Rona. Rona even came out to my work to deliver the first invites for a very nominal fee. Otherwise, you can drive to her office located in the Mission. She will review all the details with you and was always on target and never late. I wish I could say that all of my wedding vendors were on the ball, but Rona is the person you want to work with. Last but not least, all of our guests commented on how beautiful the invitations, tent cards, the place cards, and escort cards looked. -

Wow. That's the best way to describe Rona's work. Just, wow. I didn't even want to send my wedding invitations out! I just wanted to keep them and frame the envelopes.
Honestly, prettiest calligraphy I've ever seen. I've gotten so many compliments on her work. And, she's nice and easy to work with! Highly highly recommend! -

Rona was so nice and easy to deal with! I had really high expectations for my wedding invitations and place cards and she delivered.
Many of my invitations went out to artists & designers, the compliments I received were fantastic.
Also, I might mention that I had many last minute additions and she got them done right away, and was so sweet during the process.

I cannot put in words how fabulous both Rona and her work are! I am so grateful to have found her on yelp. She just completed the calligraphy for my wedding envelopes and in record time. She tailored the calligraphy especially to harmonize with the return address font which was somewhat unique. It looks STUNNING!
I would have expected her talent to cost me double what it did.
She mailed me a brochure the first day I called her to inquire and it was refreshing to get a brochure with sample fonts in the mail instead of via email.
She made time to meet me on my schedule and she used less than a handful of extra envelopes for over 250 envelopes. And she completed everything in 10 days even though I emailed her corrections to my original list on a daily basis!
She returned everyrhing to me perfectly packaged in alphabetical order with my original list and copies of all my emails with changes
There wasn't one mistake!
I am definitely going to have her do my table place cards and anything else I can think to put her beautiful writing on

I have never seen such positive reviews and for good reason. Rona does amazing work. Many guests commented on the beauty of her work. I was reluctant to spend money on calligraphy but my fiance talked me into it and I am so glad he did. Her work is flawless- I checked every envelope. She even shipped them to me for $10 to save me the hour drive to her.

Rona was wonderful to work with and really saved us with her experience and professionalism.
First Rona does excellent work. Also her experience knowing that things happen helped us out a ton. We had a few last minute changes to our guest list so I didn't want the seats to go empty so invited a few others to fill the spots. Rona kept a few extra blank escort cards. I emailed her and the next day she had them done. That saved us from having to have the last minute changes pick up cards with other people's names on them.
That was much appreciated and added the final touch to our perfect wedding. Thanks much!!! -

Wow, Rona is a great resource for anyone who needs quality calligraphy done.
In our case, it was for our wedding invitations. We had to have over 150 invitations done...in gold on a metallic cappuccino paper stock. I thought for sure this would be a problem, but Rona didn't have any issues with it at all. She gave us her guidance as to what type of calligraphy would work best with what we were doing, and she cranked out all of them in such a surprisingly short time.
THEY LOOK AMAZING!!!
She made changes and additions to the invitation for us too.
Her price was right, she was very pleasant to deal with, and the finished product was outstanding! I would recommend anyone who needs calligraphy of many types to ask Rona to do the job. -

Rona did our wedding invitations and they look great, I'm very pleased with the job that she did for me. I'm also going to have her do my place cards.
She was great and easy to work with, I had several revisions on my guest lists and she changed and added them for me with no problems.

I just hired Rona to address all my wedding invitations and I can't even describe how AMAZING they turned out! I met with Rona and she is very professional and easy to work with, she has numerous fonts you can choose from, so I was able to select one that matched the font I used for my printed address on the back of the envelope. She had all 92 of my invitations completed in a matter of days, and when I picked them up I was so impressed! It really made the invitation feel complete, and the calligraphy was so beautiful! I highly recommend using Rona and her calligraphy skills! I will definitely go back!

Pros: Friendly, fast, convenient and reasonable prices.
Cons: Need to recheck all work, and not that organized.
I hired Rona to write names on menu cards, escort cards and for our tables after she did a beautiful job for my brother's wedding. She was very easy to talk to and nice. However, you do need to recheck her work as she made 3 mistakes (out of my 102 person list) for escort cards and table names and used the wrong name list for our menu cards.
Rona apologized for the menu cards, she had overlooked that list and did not charge me for those, but I still had to do a rush order on new cards and was down $50. More importantly, it was stressful 2 weeks before my wedding. So while I think she does a fine job, make sure to check all the names (got a Johnson instead of Jordan for example and a plural instead of singular for a table name) and allow time for redos. In the end, the calligraphy itself was a bit spotty (some random squiggles), but passable. -

Rona was able to work within our budget and because of this we were able to have such wonderful invitations (I can't even begin to imagine what we would have done without her!)

We just used Rona to address our wedding invitation envelopes and we were so impressed with her talent and her customer service. Rona is a class act! She made worked with me to make sure that I understood proper addressing etiquette and used it in a way I was comfortable with. We got our addresses to her almost 2 days late and she still made the deadline we had set. She exceeded expectations in every way. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND her for any calligraphy work.

I couldn't be more delighted with the service and product I received from Rona Siegel!
First things first: her calligraphy is STUNNING. I was SO please with how my envelopes turned out, and I have received numerous compliments on the calligraphy.
But for a crazy-busy bride like myself, her service beyond expectations is what prompted me to write this review. Rona drove into the city from her home in the East Bay to pick up my invitations -- on a Sunday!! She had all of them completed by Tuesday, and even accommodated my multiple last minute additions and revisions.
She was also very reasonably priced in comparison to many of the other calligraphers out there (who, by the way, copped attitude that I was calling last minute)
Rona exceeded my expectations on all accounts! I thoroughly recommend her. -

I was looking for a calligrapher to re-construct our wedding vows for Valentine's Day. With only a few days notice, she met me in person, offered creative suggestions to layout the vows for framing which wasn't an easy feat as they were 3 pages typed and she got the words beautifully positioned to fit a 11x14 frame. She was very professional, timely, flexible and reasonably priced. I wish I found her before our wedding as I would have gladly had her do our invitation envelopes and escort cards.

Simply the best. Rona did the escort cards for my 4/30/11 wedding, and they're beautiful - I don't need to keep them now, but hate to let them go! Rona is very talented, speedy, and enjoyable to work with. Also, very reasonably priced.

I'll tell you the story, you decide how great Rona is. Being the procrastinator that I am, it took me forever to order our wedding invitations, so by the time I received them, they should have been sent out a month ago. I found Rona on Yelp and gave her a call on a Friday afternoon, then dropped off the envelopes (about 100 of them) with her at 10:15 AM on Saturday morning. She asked "So how soon do you need these done?" and I answered "yesterday". 4:45 PM same day- she calls me on my cell to tell me they are done! Unbelievable! I picked up the envelopes at 5:15 PM and they look great! Fast and beautiful- couldn't have asked for more!

My review of Rona Siegel's calligraphy is very overdue!!! Sorry, Rona! My husband and I were married back in April. When it came time to choose a calligrapher, I did most of my research online and especially through Yelp. Rona had such wonderful reviews from many brides. But, it was really speaking to Rona that did it for me. She is such a sweet and kind person, and I didn't feel like I was talking to another vendor who really didn't care about what I wanted, but was just after my money. Rona cared. And, her pricing makes it known that she isn't just after money. It's so reasonable!! Her care really came through in her beautiful work. Not many things go right in the wedding planning process, but I will tell you that one of the best decisions I made was choosing Rona to do our calligraphy. The night that I picked up my wedding invitation envelopes and reply cards was one of the happiest nights I had leading up to the wedding!!!!!!!!!!!! They were *gorgeous* *breathtaking* *amazing*. I'm so happy that we decided to have one done for ourselves, because now I can always look back at our wedding invitation with a big smile. After our guests received our invitations in the mail we had numerous compliments and inquiries about the calligraphy. Everyone loved it!! It's a guilty pleasure when your guests rave about something. I think Rona is so unbelievably talented. And, she's really great at taking your vision and working with it - whether its more traditional or very modern. I would recommend Rona to anyone and everyone. She's one of a kind!!!!!!!
