Went back to Rogue on the weekend. I really want to give it 5 stars, but  I just can't!

The boyfriend and I went in to get some beer and nachos before a movie. The beer was really good, and the nachos were also really good. Food-wise, we were extremely pleased.

    BUT! Here's the downside.

It was a Friday night, so it was really busy of course (and I don't have a problem with that!). But we got in right away and didn't have to wait. Here's the catch: They sat us in this teeny tiny room at the very back. It was a nice room, intimate, well decorated...

But HOLY CRAP WAS IT EVER HOT. And PACKED with people. I wanted to take my clothes off. I was thirsty. I needed WATER in there. I actually lost my appetite. I love high temperatures, and it's EXTREMELY rare for me to complain about the heat being too high... so it MUST have been over 30 degrees celsius.

So the salsa on my nachos was completely out of the question. No way was I putting anything spicy into my mouth while sitting in that sauna. The fans were going full blast... I have no idea what was happening in there, but it was bad!

My advice: sit in the lounge... or the open dining room. Wait the 20 minutes if you have to, so you can sit where there's enough air for everyone to breathe comfortably!

Why such a dry salty burger? At least there was the patio.

There is a Yelp check in offer of $5 off next visit. I highly doubt there will be a next visit.

I came here on a Saturday evening, 8ish. It was busy mainly because our waitress was serving tables from all ends of the restaurant. We got the bill in advance in case we don't see her again when we want to leave!

The albacore tuna tataki $13.49 was pretty tasteless so I regret ordering (and paying for) that.

Fries x 3 "hand cut kennebec fries, (1) gorgonzola cream &
bacon (2) poutine (3) truffle oil & parmesan $8.99" was AWESOME! Love the one with truffle oil!

Big list of beers on taps, multiple thumbs up. And beer cocktails!!??

I like how elegant the place looks, two floors! Washrooms have supercool mirror TV's.

A reservation was made for saturday night for me and a date. I show up first and get seated to a table. 10 minutes later,My date shows up and she gets shown to ANOTHER TABLE. so we both are there, waiting for the other to show up. I didn't know, of course, she was at the restaurant the whole time, nor did she know I was there, because some idiot showed us to separate tables. Someone should get fired for this.

Checked out this place with some of my girlfriends last night. Thought it would have been packed for the hockey game- but it was actually sorta empty.

Drinks- I had water cuz I am exciting like that. Friends had some beer, wine, sangria and margarita- they all liked it. My water jug on the table was an avalon milk jug- loved it! lol

Appies- we got Vietnamese tacos, Pot Stickers and Nachos with guac and pulled pork to share. Tacos were average nothing special, sauce was good. pickeled veg and soft bun. Pot stickers again nothing special- good little taro chips on the plate tho. Nachos were massive. good cheese amount and neat with mangos and fresh salsa.

Dinner- one had Lobster mac- actually cheesy and a good tossed salad with it. One had fish tacos- she seemed to like it. One had chilli- no complaints. Other had bang bang chicken and shrimp- nice sauce very colourful- good. and I had wonton soup- wish I had just caved and ordered some deep fried. The wontons were like mushy and not flavorful. A ton of mushrooms which was good but I wouldnt order this again.

Dessert- we all shared Sundae and Choc PeanutButter Explosion. sundae was a sundae- ice cream too much whip a few pecans and fudge. the pb bar was ok, very sweet though.

Our waitress/bar tender was nice, a little akward at times but sweet. Had this guy who took over who was fab! super friendly, joked around and helpful.

I would go back if someone said lets go here. good location, large area and central. But food that we had tonight was bland. Nice to hang out with friends though.

Rogue Kitchen & Wetbar is located in Waterfront station in downtown Vancouver, and is  just a few blocks walk for us.  The whole restaurant, upstairs and downstairs is beautifully decorated and has a great atmosphere.

On our second visit, we had Pamela as a waitress and she was wonderful.  She  helped my husband choose an entree and checked back just frequently enough to make sure  we were happy with our drinks and dinner.

My husband had a caesar to start with.  They serve theirs with a weird pepperoni stick in it and some olives.  He said it was very good, not the best though.  This is definitely a Canadian thing, as no one in  Dallas would have a clue as to what a caesar is.

I ordered a chicken cobb salad and my husband had the Bang Bang chicken.  My husband liked his, other than the fruit in it.  I ate half my salad because it was huge.  The salad was so much better than a traditional cobb where everything is just piled on top.

The apple pie dessert is more than enough for two and worth the 15 minute wait.

    We will definitely be back!

There is only one good thing about this place.  Location.  Conveniently located inside the Skytrain/Canada line station, it is the perfect place to go to on a rainy night for public commuters out there.  Too packed and you have to wait outside?  No problem.  Just sit on the benches nearby.  Waiting for friends?  No problem.  You can chill at starbucks if you like.

    My happy comments end here.

For watering holes like these, their appies have to be pretty excellent since most of their clientele go here to drink and have some finger food on the side.  Alas, they have failed.  Their yam fries are too thin and soggy.  Their calamari have the worst soggy breading.  The med pizza didn't give the much awaited wow after the very disappointing yams and calamari.  The Sultry Sangria was anything but sexy.  I might as well just buy Growers from the liquor store.

Hmmmnn...I think my review is too mean... so I will end it by giving their Cougar Juice a thumbs up! :-D

Would I go there again?  On a cold rainy night where I must absolutely drink right after work, after I get off the seabus?  Oh yes.

    Quick notes:
    1) Make a reservation if you plan on eating at a table away from the bar (it will make it a lot easier on yourself than just showing up)
    2) It's located right in the Waterfront station, so it's incredibly easy to catch a skytrain or seabus to get places after
    3) Try the fries 3-ways. If you're on the fence about it, do it for me (you won't regret it)
    4) If you liked the music of the 90's and early 2000's from a rock/alternative perspective, you're in for a treat

Rouge Kitchen and Wetbar is located Waterfront Station in the corner facing Steamworks and Cordova Street.  It's clean and modern looking, with an ultra-lounge type feel, without the clubbers, loud music and overly fake or pretentious clientele.  Instead you get a comfy, quasi-dressy pub/restaurant.  If you've been to Steamworks across the street (owned by the same people), Rouge has a slightly higher class/polished feeling, but you wouldn't feel out of place with a wearing a nice pair of jeans and sweater, polo or nice shirt.

I've come to Rouge several times for a brew and grub.  Each time I have gone I've been very happy with the time had.  It has been quite busy a couple of the times, so we had to sit at the bar, but that was still an enjoyable experience.
The beer selection is very good to give a variety of microbrewed beers for a variety of tastes and pallets.  One of my favourite is the very hoppy Green Flash from San Diego while my fiancé has enjoyed the Pyramid Brewery Apricot Wheat Ale from Berkeley (even in winter they still have this on tap!). Now you are paying a bit more due to all the beers being mostly non-local microbrews, but it's well worth it.  For comparison, it is comparable or a little cheaper than the Alibi Room or Biercraft for pints, but doesn't have as big of selection of beers (although they still have quite a few and their on tap!).

The food is tasty and not ridiculously priced.  An appetizer will run you $10 or less while meals are ~$15.  My personal favorite is the fries 3-ways. You get three sets of fries: one poutine, parmesan and garlic and one gorganzola and bacon.  I recommend this as a great treat for 2 people.  Be warned, it's also pretty filling, but the flavours with the crisp fries are so good. I'm sure to order it every time, and each time it's been the same: excellent.

I would recommend Rouge to anyone looking for a good microbrew and food.  It's definitely a place not to be missed.

My favourite things about Rogue: decent food, takes big groups, centrally located.

The Lobster Mac n' Cheese is my favourite main. It comes with a side of refreshing citrus arugula salad. I liked how the caesar salad had sweet croutons. I think they had been baked in honey.

A generous 6oz glass of the "don't-care-white" will set you back $4.99. While it's not really great wine, but it's not horrible either.

Ok so really this place is only getting 4 stars for their beer selection. Their "impossible to find anywhere else but here" craft IPA's to be exact. The fact that they are very quick to offer samples of ones you haven't tried is also a definite bonus.

The food is "meh" at best. The sushi bombs are an excellent concept but a more accurate name would be rice balls with a tiny teeny strip of fish thrown on top. The pizza has a way too thick crust for my liking, most of the other menu items I've tried are just "ok".

Go for the beer though, no really.

A 2-level casual restaurant with a chill environment in Waterfront Station - designed for big groups of friends and social gatherings for people of all ages, and ideal for those who may be drinking and want easy access to the skytrains.

A group of us came for a program wrap-up meetup and enjoyed a few drinks and appies. The atmosphere was perfect for the meetup, but the service and food were less than mediocre. The hosts were very welcoming, but our server was very inattentive - forgot our drinks several times and rarely check on us. Nothing special about the calamari, hot buffalo wings, edamame. And the Sidecar (remy martin vs, cointreau, fresh lemon juice) was way WAY too sour for anyone`s liking!

Rogue is also known for their awesome Twitter campaigns with the "Drink and Ride" program last year, the accepting of Canadian Tire money this year, and their ongoing daily #GoRogue special though when I inquired, the server wasn't sure what I was talking about and she was suppose to check, but didn`t come back with a straight answer. This experience was not a great one, but will give them a 3-star because my past experiences have been much better.

Similar vibe to (and owned by): Steamworks

Wow, what can I say I LOVED my first visit here, love that it's in the old train station, excellent beer selection, love places that do beer samplers, Burger was incredible, fat and juicy just the way I like it and in my favorite bun a brioche, a sesame Brioche at that with black and white sesame seeds, and don't get me started on the fries, the best I have yet had in any place, perfectly crisp and wonderfully salted, Friends had the sushi bombs and really enjoyed them. Wife had the simple salad and the frie trio, she really enjoyed it, tried her poutine, loved the gravy, sorry if my review just sounds like a ramble :p I am one passionate mo fo when it comes to things I love and food is pretty high on that list :p

OK, I haven't been here in about 2 months (and have since moved from Vancouver), but I must note that the experience is not up to par based on what they were providing when the first opened a year or so ago (I forget now how long it's been).

When we first started going, the food was delicious and inexpensive. In the last 6 months or so, I feel the food has gone downhill, and I think they raised the prices. Only $1-$2 on items here and there, but that's still an adjustment that I didn't appreciate since I was used to the original lower prices.

The best thing on the menu used to be the burger (which they tell you that they're going to cook medium pink for you). It used to be fantastic, and it's just ok now. It's disheartening.

The service is still the same, which is just fine no complaints, but the food man, the food...  It used to be a fantastic value, now it's just another place. I won't ever go there again (like I said, I moved away from town, but still....)

    Sadface.

Rogue might not be my first choice, or my own choice at all, but when a gaggle of guys and gals wants a low key place for a pint, it's hard to argue with a large space, a robust beer list and a server who changed our seating arrangement 3 times as we added more people to our pod. Thank you, you kind soul!

I haven't tried any of the food here since they morphed from Transcontinental, as I view Rogue as a drinks kinda place. It also looks like many birthday crews have gotten wise to their ability to accommodate large parties because for a whole Saturday night, it didn't stop smelling like sparklers. (And yes, a few of us who remember Red Robin's of the 1990s did a little "Happy birthday" song at our table too!)

With this much effort, and the worst frozen-tasting-pizza ever (that was recommended by the waitress) I will not return.

What a disappointment, considering I changed my original two star review. Ultimately, it really warranted a two-star. Should have gone with my original instincts on such a hit-and-miss place.

I was at Rogue on part of a beer tour, otherwise I probably never would have bothered to come.

We tried the Crannog Back Hand of God Stout, which I was kind of nervous about, since I'm not usually a fan of stouts, but it was delicious! It was smooth with a slight coffee flavour. I'd definitely order this again. The beer list is pretty decent otherwise as well.

Food wise - I tried the falafel pita wrap. It was alright I suppose. I wouldn't order it again because it was on the bland side. You know when you have food that you just don't feel motivated to finish? Yeah. It was like that.

The service is decent, we had a very friendly waitress.

Not much else to report. I'd come here for a few drinks, but probably never to eat.

Other than the beautiful decor and our friendly waitress this place is surprisingly substandard.

The nachos: some of the worst I've ever had. For $17 I kind of expected a bit more toppings then what we were served. Also, about 80% of the chips were crumbly little shards as if they had emptied out the bottom of the bag and dumped it onto the plate. Oh, and we paid an extra $2 for about an ounce of guacamole. REALLY REALLY disappointing nachos.

    The drinks were nothing special.

One of the waitresses kept wandering around singing along to EVERY song they were playing. I came here after a long, busy day at work to relax with a drink, not eat crappy nachos and be annoyed. Won't ever be back.

Walking in the door, I really didn't think I was going to like this place. It had a particularly "bro" atmosphere combined with some uber-fancy light fixtures. But I have been looking for places that have beer other than Sleeman and A. Keith and this place actually had some good hoppy beers on tap!

I'm from the US and ever since I moved here for school I've been on the search for a decent burger. Now, maybe I'm just missing all the hormones Americans shoot into their meat but every burger I've had in Vancouver has just not-been-quite-right. Well the burger at Rogue is juicy and a little pink and served on a delicious seed covered bun. Bacon comes on it automatically! While it still tasted every so slightly wrong, it was still delicious. The fries weren't very exciting but the burger was big enough to make the fries superfluous.

I got to drink a lovely IPA in a nice atmosphere with a good burger. I think I'll be going back....

I still really love Rogue for their 1/2 price pizza Sundays! And their daily local beer specials. They have an awesome beer list featuring many local breweries! And their wings and chicken sandwich are delish!

However, the last time we went we ordered a plate of nachos for $17 or so and it was huge, piled high with chips, but they were really stingy with the cheese.  We didn't mind less chips if it meant more topping per chip. And when we asked about it our server gave us sass but had more cheese put on it... which in turn burnt the first bits of cheese and it wasn't really that great.

Too bad... I guess I'll just come for the 1/2 price pizzas then.

It was a great place to watch the hockey games, though!

    I'm a fan.

We came here tonight because it was close to home... Couldn't decide on other places and she said, hey! Rogue isn't too bad, and it's not to expensive either! Let's go!

So here we went.  Waited 1 second and was able to eat outside, it was about 8pm and the place wasn't really hopping yet.  I guess it might get busier later?!  I had fish tacos, she had seafood linguini.  Overall I enjoyed the food.  It was filling, and tasty.  The fish was spicy too, like a dry rub sort of spice. YES, perfect with a 5.50 pint of Kelowna pilsner.

Bill was cheap, 1 beer, two entrees tax and tip $48.

I hear they have half price pizza on Sundays, i'll be back for sure.

Server was Vanessa, she was good.  Very attentive and knew what she was about.  Good upseller!!

    Fabulous!!!

We were hosting a bachelorette party and spent hours trying to decide where to take our gaggle of cowgirls before we headed to the mechanical bull down the street.

We decided Rogue looked to be a bit of a crowd pleaser, something for everyone in a big group, reasonably priced, and yummy vegetarian options.

Our server, Pete, was a riot! He played along with all our silly games and was a good sport. Everyone was very pleased with their meals which included; sushi bombs, Fish tacos, chicken wings, salad, falafel... So good!!!

They even let us bring a vulgar penis cake and didn't have a stupid fee or anything. The included gratuity was only 15% so we were happy to top it up for our phenomenal service from even the extra helpers bringing out food to help Pete. Then the bill was already split between all 12 people!

Gorgeous room, amazing service, good prices, selection, location. Worth stopping by. Ask for Pete!!

I struggled on whether or not to give this 2 or 3 stars. It is decidedly average but I gave it the extra star because of convenience. Nestled right inside Waterfront Skytrain station?  Can't beat that.

The food:  I've sampled the burgers, pizza and trio of fries. It's all very average and typical bar food with nothing that really stood out in my mind. I did appreciate that the regular burger comes with all the requisite toppings that many other places will charge you extra for. Granted, those places don't charge $12.99 for a burger as their base price but.....

The drinks: A nice line up of beers and standard cocktails decently priced. Nothing amazing but nothing poorly mixed either.

One other notable: I've sat in the upstairs with large parties and they were very accommodating about sectioning off tables for us. They even put up a curtain between us and another large group to give us some privacy.

I'll definitely go here again. My husband takes the Seabus from work so this is an easy spot to meet up after work.

They have a really good selection of beers on tap. I had the Crannog Back Hand of God Stout - delicious! Unfortunately their cider on tap is limited only to Strongbow - very disappointing. Their wine list isn't too shabby.

To eat I had the Bang Bang Chicken and Shrimp. I didn't notice much in the way of shrimp but it hit the spot regardless. My man had the Meat Lover's Pizza and he was a happy boy.

Our server was adorably cute and took really good care of us. The decor is kind of weird. It's really busy and some things just don't seem to go together. It's a big space and would be good for groups. They also have large screens above the bar so you can catch the lastest game. There are patios if you don't mind the hustle bustle and frequent panhandler on Cordova.

So I am giving this place 5 stars; not because anything really stands out as over-the-top amazing (except the new cheese-stuffed veggie burger...AMAZING) but because I simply cannot find one damn thing to rant about. Run-of-the-mill American upscale casual is all pretty much the same to me (read: Moxie's, Cactus Club, Earl's). This place is similar BUT cheaper with quirky little menu and drink additions that set it apart. Great service, pretty unique venue, convenient location. Absolutely worth it (much more so than the aforementioned restaurants).

Alright, another update. I don't know how or why but this year I am spending more time at Rogue than at home (ok, not quite, but close...) I never thought of it as the place to go primarily for food, although I do like their burger and sushi bombs. It's a nice place for drinks, but then ofc we all get hungry and order food. And yes, it's good food, but nothing special.
I tried most of it, and only yesterday did I discover their chicken sandwich! OMG! I really really liked it. And if you ever go there you gotta try it. I hope it's free-range chicken, if it's not- take one star away from my review:)

When you first walk into this place you just think, damn that is a big restaurant, yet when you sit down, it is cozy and warm. We got to sit by a fireplace, in a smaller room that was secluded from the rest of the establishment. It was quite inviting seeing how cold it was that day and If I remember correctly it was raining as well. It's definitely a nice place with an air of richness.

As for my food, I was a little torn, I ordered the spaghetti with meatballs. The meatballs, which there were two of, were huge, tasty and tender, they were delicious. As for the pasta, I'm still not sure as to weather I liked them or not. They were a little bland, it wasn't a red sauce per say, there was a lot of green in it, and definitely the taste of olive oil which was a little overpowering. But the meat balls were so huge, I was already pretty full and didn't have to scarf down all of the pasta.

I remember coming here before they became the rogue, they definitely are an improvement from the last restaurant, that I can't even remember what it was called.

I'm not sure what the specific combination was, whether the service, decor or lack lustre pub-grub, but something about Rogue just rubs me the wrong way.

The partitioned seating, private rooms and labyrinthe-like layout ended up making me completely uneasy. Typically I'm not overly affected by the atmosphere of a restaurant but the impact here was undeniable.

I can see the lure if you're a suit wearing businessman grabbing the Westcoast Express or Seabus back home, to grab a few cocktails on the way out of the door but that's the only lure I can see.

I had the Crispy Chicken Burger and was a little surprised when it ended up looking, and ultimately tasting, like something from KFC.

Since I'm down around Harbour Center every week I'll likely give Rogue another chance, particularly with Patio weather making an appearance, but it'll need to be a tempting group of friends in order to convince me.

I believe the first impression here warrants a second try...

I was greeted at the front by three hostesses, that's right - three.  One of them lead us through the bar area towards the main restaurant.  I found myself looking up at the back wall which was covered by nice big TVs and then my eyes were drawn to the hysterically huge chandeliers in the dining room area.  Next I noticed how many servers were walking around - There were seemingly enough staff for 2 restaurants.

I think this is where the problems started for me.  The abundance of staff , coupled with the tasteful and modern/industrial decor, may have set my expectations a bit high.

The menu had a lot of interesting items and i was anxious to try them all, unfortunately there was no one around to take our orders... time passes... still no one, maybe a tumbleweed rolled by - but no server.  The mass of servers seemed to mysteriously disapear each time we needed to add to an order or refresh a drink. This continued for the duration of our meal, all the way up until we needed to find someone to give us the bill.

All in all, the place is looking great, I like the lively atmosphere but I think that night the staff needed a good team huddle to provide better coverage on the floor.  There were servers everywhere, and nowhere.

I will go back to see if this 3 star review can turn into a 4.

I have avoided Rogue like the plague.
It's in a train station... right?

Well... serves me right for being so judgmental. I have missed a great place for pints and grub. All those times waiting to get into The Alibi Room or just giving up and heading home without a proper beer in my belly to end the night. I have definitely missed out.
With a very respectable beer list, I found myself tucked into a comfy booth on Saint Patty's Day. No reso, no line up. Just great beer.
I thoroughly enjoyed guzzling a few Jasmine IPAs and finished with an Apricot Ale for dessert.
The genuinely friendly staff all seemed pretty happy about working there too.
My only issue was the pink burger. But, I was warned beforehand, and I should have asked for well done. My bad.

The menu: upscale comfort food, an extensive list of craft beers and microbrews on tap, witty writing, especially for the "don't care" wines

The atmosphere: huge eye-catching chandeliers, floor-to-ceiling draperies (and the ceiling is at least 30 ft high), just the right lighting, comfy chairs

The location: right inside Waterfront Station - heritage building and transit hub.

The experience: A couple of friends and I came for an early dinner before heading out to a gathering at another bar in Gastown. We were all fairly hungry, so we wanted a place that wasn't going to charge $20 a plate for a few slivers of meat or fish and a wisp of organic lettuce. After taking a gander at Rogue's menu, posted conveniently outside the door, we asked the hostess for a table.

She made some noise about being "full up" that night (Saturday) and said that she could seat us if we were going to be out by 7:30, since she had a booking at that time. Sure, we said. And then we followed her through the bar area back to the spacious and lovely - and almost completely empty - dining room. Hmmm. Okay.

Aside from that little hiccup, the service and the food was fantastic. There were so many things on the menu I wanted to try, it all looked so good, but an eeny-meeny decision between Caramel Chicken and Grilled Bacon and Cheese sandwich led to the sandwich. When the food came, it was smaller than expected, with the fries served in a little tin cup. But the sandwich was all melty toasty deliciousness, and the fries were just like White Spot fries - my favourite fries in the whole world. When I was done eating (washed down with a fruity apricot ale from the Tap list), I was a little sad I had no room left in my tummy for a Chocolate Peanut Butter Explosion from the dessert menu.

When we left, the dining room had started to hum, but the place was by no means full. I don't know whether the hostess was inexperienced or if Rogue wants to look cool, like a bar that makes people line up even when there's no one inside, but discouraging diners from a near-empty restaurant is just silliness.

Analysis: There will most definitely be a next time at Rogue, assuming they'll let me in!

Rogue Kitchen & Wetbar is a fairly new restaurant that has opened in the heart of Gastown, in the prime location of Waterfront Station. It is a funky restaurant that definitely makes a powerful statement with its eye-catching light fixtures & glowing walls. Disappointingly however, the food was painfully average and was not even close to supporting the `beyond ordinary experience`  this restaurant was trying to achieve.

    Guinness and Nachos!

Standard - nothing out of the ordinary. The nachos were huge with lots of toppings and the cheese was mostly layered throughout. Big side serving of guac for $3 extra (appeared to be chunky and home made). Salsa and sour cream come with. Nachos for four = $19.99.

    Pint of Guinness = $7

The service was great and the pub itself is conveniently located at the seabus terminal.

Wasn't sure about this place.. but it beat my expectations

located at the waterfront station.. fairly new restaurant that replaced that other 'train' station restaurant.. still owned by steamworks

very cool and fresh vibe.. packed for canucks games so watch out for that.. tried coming here before and couldn't get in.. came around 530-6 this time on a Friday and got in no prob into dining room (the lounge was already full tho.. after work crowd i'm assuming).. the game was at 7 and by then it was completely packed

i chose the grilled wild salmon sandwich (yummy big slices of avocado was a nice touch) with a side of tomato basil soup which was delicious.. loved the melted cheese in the middle.. also had a glass of pinot grigio which was good.. and shared a piece of cheesecake at the end which was delicious

    left full and satisfied

the decor is interesting and cool as well.. they also have an upstairs that can accomodate large parties.. looks like a good venue to host birthday parties, etc.

I went back to Rogue after a while to see if the place has changed. I was positively surprised... and that's always a good thing, right!?

I had the Lobster Mac&Cheese with a friend (sorry, I'm not brave enough to try something like that alone :o) and it was pretty good.

I was a bit disappointed by the Drinks... the Mojito has some weird taste to it, the dark rum that rests on the bottom of the glass doesn't struck me as the type of rum that is supposed to be used for a Mojito. Also it would be great it the limes were squeezed before mixing the drink. They are not just for decor but for the juice and taste.

The Caesar is a bit funky... a sausage is sticking in it... that took my appetite away, maybe others like it so no prejudice. Not for me, I do eat meat but there are people in this city who don't and to serve something like a Caesar with a sausage inside the drink need some comforting.

The drinks are a great deal though. Where can you get a 5$ Mojito in this town? Please change some recipes though... it would do much good!

I found some interesting things on the menu I would like to try so I will be back.

For today, 3.5* with a small minus. We're getting there! :)

I like this place because of its 'convenient' location at Waterfront Station. I come to Rogue quite often as it is an easy place to meet friends after work before you get on the Skytrain home.

The food is average, I can't really fault it but nothing really stands out either. The atmosphere is nice and the service is generally very good.

Anytime that I've made a reservation online (which is a bonus), they have called my cell to reconfirm which I think is a nice touch.

Food is average and nothing extraordinary.  I come for the drinks!

We were here for a birthday party and the service was slow, but friendly.  I ordered a pitcher of beer, vodka tonic, 5 shots of tequila, yam fries, and bacon & 3 cheese grilled sandwich.  The bill was $78 which is more than reasonable.

The food... well, it didn't wow me.  The yam fries tasted fine and the bacon & 3 cheese sandwich seemed to need more cheese.  I ended up trying some corn dogs as well and they were good, but honestly... they're just corndogs.

I was with great company sitting in a beautifully decorated restaurant in Gastown so I had a good time.  In the end, I do love the atmosphere of Rogue and wouldn't mind coming back for drinks, but I wouldn't go out of my way.
