What can I say? It's like ROGERS CHOCOLATES has a factory outlet within bike-riding distance for my kids.  It's a no-brainer.

Ever since arriving in Victoria, I have loved Rogers chocolates. I have tasted chocolates from all over the world, but no one compares to Rogers either for their chocolate or for the cream fillings. (The fact that each candy is a huge 45g also helps - they weigh as much as a whole chocolate bar!)

I especially like the commerce drive location. It is the main factory that produces products for the downtown location, but it still has the antique decor that makes the original location special. But unlike the downtown location there is plenty of parking and not too many crowds of tourists.

And that is why I have to visit them every holiday to get my chocolate fix.

Gourmet chocolate creations, made in dark and milk chocolate. Rogers' world famous Victoria creams are the most popular. The Factory Store also sells chocolates with imperfections at a discounted price.

History

Established in 1885

Canada's First and Finest Chocolatier. The first Rogers' chocolates were made in 1885 by Charles "Candy" Rogers in the back of his grocery store in Victoria, B.C. He quickly became a popular man. In 1891, Rogers expanded his chocolate operation to the company's current heritage storefront on Government Street in Victoria and the rest, as they say, is history.
