For all the time I've been coming to this place, I've never had the urge to out their wares, primarily because I'm not much of a sub kinda guy(even for a meatball sub). After trying their's, though, I'm definitely considering changing my tune.
First the bad, just to get it out of the way.
I was standing in front of an empty register for near a minute+ and was getting quite angry, even considering just outright leaving based on that fact alone. After I got to try my order, though, I was really glad I didn't, 'cause it was one of rare experiences of having the range of my tastebuds expanded immensely.
As a test, I ordered a 6' Sweet Treat-in this case, a sub filled with BBQ beef brisket, just to get my feet wet and not get in over my head. After a few bites, I found out that the Sweet Treat had some serious heat and came quite strongly the more I got into it and savored the tangy, tomato-based goodness. The natural sweetness of the BBQ style paired with that heat and the beef not only filled me up, but made me grateful I ordered Froyo to accompany my dinner and cool off the flames.
In time, I might some of their healthier selections, but I'm just as happy chowing down on the Sweet Treat after a long day at work. If you're patient, you'll get some great food from here -

Three stars bc it's my first time & I'll probably change the rating another time too.. Bc I'll definitely be going back during lunch since I'm always be here(during the times I work) hahaa. I'm right next door to the place.. it's connected to yogurt me. Which I usually go in for smoothies.. Anyway, it took me a year to try this place bc my BF always says that place is nasty -__- until I realized he has never tried a single sandwich from there. -.- I think the place is pretty decent and the service is decent & friendly. And they have sandwich deals everyday & lunch specials (: even though we didn't get anything from their lunch specials.. instead I got the Mermaid Sandwich(which is just a tuna sandwich).. It was yummers.. & my boyfriend tried the Egg Salad Sandwich, which was a-ok... I have had better Egg Salad Sandwiches.. The place might be out of stock on some ingredients for certain sandwiches tho =(

Do not ever try the chipotle ranch chicken sandwich. No taste what so ever -_-x ugh. If you like, try the Cool Ranch chicken sancwich there's way more flavor. yum. And the BBQ Tri Tip was pretty good, maybe a little too much meat for me tho.. haha. -

We have used Rodger's Catering for almost 20 years, for events from 25 - 700. We just recently used their services at a 3-day motorhome rally held at Puddingstone Park. Rodger's provided breakfast, lunch and dinner for 3 days. The response from our attendees was overwhelming in how much they LOVED each and every meal. The meals ranged from scrambled egg cassaroles, tri-tip, pulled bbq pork & chicken lemon chicken, chicken pasta salad, fajitas, enchiladas, cesar salad, not to mention the EXTREMELY tasty (and beautiful) desserts. Rodger's makes their own bbq sauce and cesar dressing - both are OUTSTANDING! Rodger's can put together a menu to fit any budget. They are punctual and are your "one-stop shop" for catering (tables, chairs, linen, etc.). Whether your event is casual (graduations, birthday party, etc) or upscale (wedding receptions, etc.) I would definitely recommend Rodger's Catering to everyone.

Entertainment Club Discount.
Surprisingly good sandwiches at this strip mall shop. Clean, welcoming environment this place shares space with one of those boba drink places.
Huge portions at reasonable prices. My wife had the small club and I had the turkey wrap. The meat was fresh, the bread soft and the bill cheap. -

I almost gave this place 4 stars for the pure fact that it is a good alternative to fast food. However, the average wait time for your order can very based on the staff they have working at the moment. I've gotten my sandwich within a few minutes and I've also waited about 15 minutes with nobody else in line?!?
Make sure you order THE BASIC sandwich. It's a turkey sandwich packed with quality turkey meat. It's $3.99 for a regular which is plenty for one person. Also, add a side of red potato salad. It reminds me of my days in Germany.

Why haven't I stopped here before? Oh yea, the last time I was gonna eat here it was Sunday and they are closed.
But I stopped here the other day and will be back. I ordered the Cali Sub(turkey, bacon, cheese) and a Forget About Your Diet(pastrami) for my pops... Both were great, soft bread, loaded with meat...
All n all... I will be back... -

Been coming here for over 10 years. This place seems like it would have crappy college food as it is right next to Cerritos College, but they have surprisingly good sandwiches. I highly recommend any of there BBQ sandwiches, and a side of potato salad.

Rodgers has been around for many years. It now is a sandwich shop with a yogurt / boba place. It used to be a complete deli and meat market, until it went under new management a few years ago.
I go to Rodgers occasionally when I am in the mood for an amazing sandwich. Subway, Togo's, Quiznos, NONE OF THEM have anything on this place. They sandwiches are always truely fresh. You can eat it there or get it to go.
If you are on lunch, go in, take advantage of one of their combos, or order a sandwich and get a fresh made smoothie to compliment it. For dinner stop by and grab some sandwiches, potato salad or coleslaw and maybe some soft serve yogurt.
They aren't open on sunday which is a bummer, and it's not as comfortable to eat in there since the new owners "remodeled" the place (read went to ikea to make it hip). Even though it looks different inside, it still tastes the same as it has for years. The prices are on par with anything you will find at subway, for twice as much food. -

A great place to eat and its cool inside and they play awesome music. And there's yogurt on the other side that's good and inexpensive. A great healthy alternative for the college students! The bbq tri tip chicken is one of the best sandwiches there even though all the sandwiches are all good. The potata salad is really good too!

owners are very friendly! they offer free samples of their yogurts and their coffee/juice/boba! meat, bread and produce is fresh! :) gotta love rodgers! different breads, meats and cheeses to choose from! it's right across from home depot. they offer daily specials for under $6! -

Decent sandwiches, they had a real good taste. I am not a big sandwich fan but it was a gift so I had to eat it. Nonetheless, great deli style sandwiches. The parking lot is shared with 8 other businesses in the small plaza area, but you should be able to find parking. It is close to the 605 freeway and a gas station is next door.

Definitely a great place to get a sandwich if you are hungry. At least 3 other guys in the shop all had to pack up their sandwiches because they couldn't finish. They offer, reg 6" sandwich, large 8" sandwich and another which I think is 10". But they do pack on a pile of meat and lettuce. It's very good and decent prices which will definitely make me come back. I just moved to this area in the last month and I think I've been there 4-5 times already. It's clean, everyone is friendly and they always offer to try free yogurt. Yum.

Not Bad at all. The Pastrami was pretty good. Deli quality meats. Not too pricy, actually pretty good for what you get. The place also has a Frozen Yogurt shop inside, so when you're done grubbing, grab dessert at the frozen yogurt spot (30 cents an ounce). Beware, they close on Sundays.

Have always seen this place across the street from LA Fitness..so on Wed. I decided to get some good healthy eats w. one of my friends after a work out session...I walked in & they had plenty of sandwhich options..the lady working at the counter was great..she really was helpful & provided really good service when trying to figure out what sandwhich we wanted. All the sandwhiches & salads are made fresh that day & from scratch that includes all the bread which makes you taste the difference from other sub places.. the place is a litte strip mall & it is connected to a yogurt chain... I ordered the grilled chicken..it was a small 6" that looked more like a 10" sandwhich..it was huge!! The chicken was cooked fresh, & there was loads of lettuce, light mayo, & cheese, & they are not stingy when packing the sandwhich..you will get full w. just one half of it..we also got some free yogurt samples which were pretty good my fav was cappuccino.I will for sure be back after my gym time one of these days...this place is worth the price & can't beat the freshness & taste quality!
