There's something irresistible about candle apples, whether they're dipped in that hard red candy coating or dunked in chocolate then rolled in peanuts, m&ms, smarties, caramel crunch, or anything else for that matter... but they get me inside the store every time! If you have a penchant for sweet things, forego cheap chocolate bars and go for the gold.
Rocky Mountains only sells high-quality sugar highs. When I was there the last time they were making sponge toffee right there in front of me. Talk about nostalgia. There's nothing like melting some of that stuff on your tongue, except maybe fudge, and they've got that too! They have all the traditional kinds, maple walnut, chocolate marshmallow, etc. but the one that stood out as the most creative and original was Orange Creamsicle. But my belly was saying "no" so I passed.
If you're looking for a nice gift for a boss, teacher or client, they have some nice gift packages here with peanut brittle, chocolate, fruits and nuts. But you can also buy a single gourmet chcolate from their glass case, just to sample and satisfy your sweet tooth.
