Apart from the band-related stuff that they sell, they also have a great collection of paraphanelia (vapourizers, bongs, pipes, etc.) Although they don't carry as much variety as Mary Jane's, their prices are much more reasonable. It's not uncommon for me to head to Mary Jane's, examine their merchandise and ask the staff about it (staff at Mary Jane's are much better versed in paraphanelia), then walk down the block to Rock Candy and buy the product from them.
They also tend to be a lot less busy than Mary Jane's. The staff are nice enough - nothing too spectacular as far as customer service is concered.
I have great expectations from this great little rocker/head shoppe!Listed in: For the Kind at Heart, High Times

Hey... this is isn't a candy store, and they definitely don't sell rock candy.
What they do sell are awesome t's, hoodies, and "rocker" accessories. I went in looking for a t for an upcoming concert and they had just what I wanted. Unfortunately they don't carry any of what I wanted in women's sizing (for my wife... honest).
The staff who helped me is awesome. She went right to the rack and pulled out what I was looking for. Not need to shuffle though endless t shirts to find the one I wanted.
Price is moderate to high, but I feel good about spending my hard earned cashola here knowing it's an independent local store. -

A candy coated homage to the music and style of a harder edge. Rock Candy Boutique is a few steps down to a serious accessory session.
From The Misfits to Metallica, this is a shop that allows fans to tote their favorite bands and their styles in more ways than one. Graphic t-shirts, studded belts, flasks, shot glasses, belt buckles, bags, hoodies, stickers and more-- its a fulfilling of niche for certain folks.
I usually prefer to express band love in other ways than a t-shirt, but the option is here for those who want it. They rep legit bands of times past, and perhaps a few new age stars as well. The store's underground locale and excessive adornment of items makes for a lot to look at, and may even be the perfect paradise for some.
If you are looking for a token tribute from your most loved rocker band, Rock Candy would be a good place for a look. Prices range from decent to pricey, and I suppose its just a matter of how much you're willing to pay for music tributes.
Great little shop for the niche at hand. -

Oh, how I wish this store had existed when I was a little wannabe-punk in high school. Even now, I get a crazy thrill from looking at all the rock'n'roll t-shirts, awesome belts, bags, pins, watches, and gear of the rock, metal and punk sort in this shop.
Who doesn't love ANYTHING with skulls or flames on it? No one doesn't. Also, hoodies, patches, bullet belts. Bullet belts!! And a fully-stocked head shop. This place is serious about it's rock and roll culture, people. -

Rock Candy Boutique is all about loud guitars, items that would frequently appear attached to Lemmy and just about every product the KISS brand has produced (aside from the epic KISS Kasket). I should love this store, but for some reason, I only just like it.
Located deep downtown, Rock Candy has everything the metal head in your life could want as well as a lot of weird products that I can't imagine anybody wanting. Guns n' Roses wall clock? Really? Marijuana leaf belt buckle? Seriously? For me, these products seem a little...uninspired. There are plenty of Rock n Roll brands and items that could be sold here, but for some reason they're absent...and yet I can buy KISS incense.
Now I don't want to be a total downer, I've made a few really cool purchases here and I there is usually a pretty solid song on the stereo. I think my hopes are just so high for this store that it has trouble meeting my expectations, but I still recommend a visit to all the rock n rollers in our fair city. -

Rock Candy has it followers. What a neat store for someone who is looking for something black and silver that takes you into a world of ACDC and that style. Staff are friendly and welcoming with a hello and asking you if you need any help.
Maybe is a punk? But I am telling you they have it. In the back of the store it as neat to see all the memorabilia around the store of pictures of the bands back in the day. There are some cool hand bags that my niece would love with the peace symbols
Now as well there were encased at the front counter some really looking bongs and pipes for those to like to have a little la la I am assuming. Is this a store that I would frequent often no but for the specific item then yes I would try this location as I know you would find it. -

Rock Candy takes me back in time for sure. Here you can find all the heavy medal t-shirts, belt buckles, wallets, masks, etc.
The staff is pretty much engrossed in what ever else they are doing, did not even move an eye when we went in.
There is a lot to this store, I saw a pretty cool Betty Boop belt buckle.
