Doctor Robin Mak is really professional. The whole office is really friendly. They're great with children! She is really knowledgeable and their facility is up to date with the current technology. I would highly recommend Kits Family Dental!

First off, I hate going to the dentist. I'm always scared by the drills and I have no idea what the dentists does anyways. Dr. Mak completely changed this experience for me. She thoroughly took a case history of my health and explained every single step of the process. There was no surprises.
I go to other dentists for teeth cleaning and they finish in 20-30 minutes and feel rushed. Dr. Mak takes her time and to clean your teeth without any pain. After she's finished, she explains what she did and explains to me her recommendations.
One of the cool perks is that you can watch TV while she cleans your teeth. That was a bonus!
I highly recommend Dr. Robin Mak!

Dr. Robin Mak took over her father's dental practice when she graduated from UBC's Faculty of Dentistry in 2006
In 2011, Dr Mak brought in Dr Sakura Iwagami to help with the expansion of the business and it has remained so ever since
Meet the Business Owner: Robin M.
Robin is the principal dentist at Kits Family Dental, where her focus is on families. Her professional philosophy is to achieve and maintain oral health through early prevention. She regularly volunteers at local daycares, such as West Side Family Place, where she provides free screening for cavities, and education to parents about their child's oral health care. Her dedication to community health and volunteer work is exemplified through various channels. Robin works as a sessional dentist providing free dental work for young children at the North Community Health clinic, annually volunteers for Oral Health Month sponsored by the BC Dental Association, and has volunteered overseas doing mission work in Vietnam. Apart from her private practice, Robin finds time to teach, as a clinical instructor for dental hygienists and assistants, and also UBC dentistry students during their Pediatric Dentistry Module.
