My friendly neighborhood service station (heavy emphasis on *service*) ! I love that I can come here any time and it's always open (even after marathon shifts at work)- not like some other places where I've pumped my gas.
On days when I need to fuel up fast, I just use Irving's pay-at-the-pump option, but otherwise I usually stop in at the K and take a peek at what's in store. Besides the typical engine oil, antifreeze and maps that are standard at every service stop, this K store has a very respectable supply of grocery goods if you're in a bind.
Also, if your car's looking kind of grubby, you can check out their car wash, which is fast and effective. For ultra-clean shininess (don't know if that's a word...), opt for the Elite wash. I've used that one many a time (my car's black so it shows every peck of road dust, sand and salt), and it makes my baby sparkle. -

Drive in, pay at pump, dispense gas, get receipt, drive away (thankfully my gas cap is attached or I would likely be without). Good flow of traffic at this station, especially if you are coming off Robie heading towards north. Turning left in rush hour... hell.
Clean WC (as you come to expect from most Irvings), decent convenience selection to stock up on your way out of town on a road trip. -

Nobody likes to get gas. I mean, it's expensive, your hands get dirty and it's not like you have a choice. If you have a car, you have to suck it up and put gas in it. I stop by here on the regular and have got to say, I'm a fan. A buddy from high school works here, so it's also cool to see a friendly face on my morning commute. The staff are always fantastic and the convenience store? Effing rad.

The Robie Street Irving really saved my New Year's Eve. See, as the story goes I thought I had some mix for a celebratory drink, but, I thought wrong. In a panic I began driving around the city looking for a store that carried a ginger ale.
But not just any ginger ale, oh no...this special evening required Sussex Golden. A brand that apparently is not carried by any corner store in my fair city except the Robie Street Irving.
The relief that washed over me as I pulled those bottles out of the fridge was fantastic. Ernest may have saved Christmas, but Robie Street Irving saved New Years and for that they have earned my repeat business. -

I've go to give this location props. They manage to stock some great snacks; so say for example you're walking home late and you're staggering slightly and need a frozen treat to sate a craving, this Irving is a must stop shop.
I've enjoyed their frozen garlic fingers on one memorable occasion. This particular feast wasn't one that I am proud of, but I was ecstatic when I stumbled toward the freezer and found some exciting grocery store offerings in this well stocked gas station.
During a different visit, when Andrew and I had decided we wanted to win the lottery, we proceeded to buy scratch tickets then sat outside to uncover our treasures. When we'd win, one of us would go back inside and retrieve another ticket with our large jackpots of about $2 at a time. This went on for about 20 minutes until we'd lost about $10 and felt prepared to head home with our tails between our legs..
This Irving is a good gas station. I mean, I don't know much about their actual gas, but I do know they've got cheap late night eats and a great plethora of gambling goods. Solid! -

I'm not 100% sure I'm a fan of Irving or Sobey's - I do love those discount coupons that Sobey's hands out for use at Irving stations.
There are at least two reasons to love this particular Irving - the car wash. It's inexpensive, and does a great quick clean, especially when it's cold and I'm too lazy to do it myself. And the fact that it's open 24 hours - you never know when you'll need gas or something.
The K store is well maintained - meaning lots of goodies on the shelves and clean. -

I have frequented this Irving on many an occasion, the main reason is because of the 24 hr factor. It has a nice store, now called K, which I am not a fan of the name. But, I guess who cares, as long as the needs are being met for the consumer.
It is a pretty stocked store, has some fresh produce, mostly bananas, and then your staples, milk, bread, junk food, and fresh coffee brewing.
The staff here are ok, but the washrooms are usually nice and clean. This is a bonus.
