I made this reservation very last minute by email while taking a driving trip with my sister, not sure what to expect. It far exceeded my expectations.
The only drawback is that it is a bit pricey, and I wish they'd been able to negotiate more (it was slow season and they clearly weren't full to capacity). I don't generally stay in such nice places unless celebrating a special occasion, but it is perfect for that kind of splurge.
We reserved the Garden Suite but were upgraded to a different suite when we arrived. It was in excellent condition, very clean, with a luxurious bed and lots of conveniences. If it hadn't been raining, we would have loved the patio just outside our room or the large porch upstairs. Because the suites are all on the lowest floor, there is no noise from the streets; we slept very well. The bathroom was small, but nice.
They should advertise the secure parking in a locked underground garage! But you don't need a car - the BnB was close enough for us to walk to dinner out, the harbor, the museum, and other attractions.
The breakfast was delicious and adjusted for our preferences... but far too large. Make sure you're hungry!
The host was friendly, open, and helpful. The free wifi was easy to use and fairly fast.
Highly recommended for a luxury get away.
