This place feels like a proper men's barber shop. Nice old metal and leather chairs, old photos on the walls, and good conversation with the owner. The haircut was fast but thorough and very reasonably priced. This is my new place.

My hair's easy - a bit of a trim, some scissor work on top, and clean it up all around. So when I pick a barber it's almost entirely around convenience.
Riviera's was amazing in that respect. I left my apartment (across the street) at 8:30 and was back at 8:50. Beat that for $20. He works primarily by appointment as it's just him right now; though you can walk in. Give him a call and give it a try.
Oh, and the hair looks just fine.
