I have been going here for several years for breakfast, lunch, and dinner but most of the time I go for the special breakfast on Monday to Friday at 7:00 am to 11 am.
The special breakfast have three eggs (your choices of the way you like them), homemade fries (dice), your choice (comes with 3) of sausages, ham, and bacon. Two toast (with jam) and coffee (free refill on coffee).
PROS:
-Good customer service
-Very friendly atmosphere
-Great deals for breakfast
-Well clean restaurant
-Wheel Chair Access
-Reasonable price for breakfast, lunch, and dinner
-Reasonable tasty food about above average on food
-Reasonable spacing of the restaurant and parking space
CONS:
-Location (if you are sitting on the patio very noisy from the Highbury traffic)
-Not that very busy because of the spacing of the restaurant
OVERALLS:
I am a fan because it have very good customer services and great deal on the breakfast. You need a good start in the morning for breakfast. This is the place to be.

Came in for breakfast Saturday morning because it's kinda close to my house so I thought I would give it a try. Anyways when you walk in you are greeted by a very friendly older lady who says sit where ever you'd like Hun! Then immediatly comes to your tables and fills up your coffee mug, which is included with all meals and free refills as well for that matter.
The service is very good and friendly that's for sure, but the food on the other hand is more on the average side. The portions arn't that big if you ask me and if you don't happen to be in on the "special" breakfast days then breakfast can be pretty expensive, 3 eggs, 3 bacon, toast, and homefries running you about $6.95. Although not outrages, you can go pretty much anywhere and get all day breakfast for this price with bigger portions. And the homefries were average as well, didn't really like those too much, and bacon was not as crunchy as I like but that's just me.
All in all I'll probably come back sometime mon-fri for some cheap breakfast but other than that on the weekends I'll stick to billys :) although river vally is a great friendly old fashioned local diner with great service but unfortunatly average breakfast.
