I went to Michelangelo for my gf's birthday along with my family. We were told their "tartare" was the best, and they had a delicious cognac spaghetti.
Oddly, the place was empty (7pm).
While the service was A+, the food itself was very ordinary.
The tartare was good, but far from being exceptionnal. The cognac spaghetti was ok, not very tasteful.
My entree of tuna tartare was ok. I had the filet mignon. While the steak itself was good (but not great), the rest (vegetables and pasta) was just ok.
Overall, for the 7 of us, we paid 500$ (tip included).
This is way too expensive for what it was.
When I pay that much, I expect the food to be great.
