Bought my take-out supper there the other day - it was great! I had chicken quesadillas, a chicken burrito and two paposcas (sp?). Loved it! Great food and great people who own it! Thanks

On the busy strip of Richmond st, Ricon Latino is exactly that. A Latin hole in the wall providing burritos, tacos, popusas and tostadas. Tacos are $7 either chicken or beef.
Quality is good and it satisfied my Mexican craving, however I only give it a mediocre rating based on my expectations being extreme. -

The food was alright, great value for money but a lot of my food that I ordered was heated up using a microwave. I don't know whether that's a fault of how cozy the restaurant is (you can clearly see the entire kitchen) but I'd like to hope that my food is freshly prepared at other latin restaurants.

Two small tables, one tiny counter - jam packed with character and flavour.
We arrived past closing time and begged the owner to let us eat there (the Yelp reviews had me excited). A rambunctious Mexican woman, she agreed. The 15 minutes we waited for our food were pure Entertainment. Her older passionately Catholic friend shared the story of the great love of her life with us. There was much arguing about dating, and religion, with hand gestures galore and spitting.
The food:
2 tamarind drinks - perfectly cold and sweet with a kick
2 orders of enchiladas (each came with rice, and 3 enchiladas) stuffed with ground beef and home made salsa
Total of twenty dollars including tax??!!!!
I know this wasn't the actual price of the meal, the owner just rounded the price off for us. Quelle amazingness! -

short review - outstanding, fresh, flavourful mexican food served with care in a small hole in the wall. londoners you must check this place out!
long review - i recently dropped in to rincon latino with my girlfriend for a quick bite prior to seeing a movie. we didn't really know what to expect, but came away very impressed. i ordered a beef burrito and she ordered a chicken quesadilla. the burrito was stuffed full of delicious ground beef, cheese, homemade refried beans, salsa, veggies, and spicy sauce and was very tasty. even better, however, was the quesadilla, which was miles beyond anything any pub has ever offered on their appetizer menu. it was indescribably rich and delicious, and i would highly recommend it.
the meal portions were very large considering how low the prices were, and all the food was prepared fresh in the small kitchen by the owner. she clearly cares a lot about the food, and it shows in her cooking.
ambiance-wise, you get what you pay for. this is clearly a take-out spot, not a sit and eat sort of place. but for this price and food quality, i don't really think it matters.
also: the location on the yelp map isn't correct... the address is, so do a google maps search for it if you're confused about its location. -

Not exactly what you would call a restaurant, actually it's more of a hole in the wall but don't let that throw you off!! This place has probably the best Latin food in London and at amazingly cheap prices too! I love the chimichangas from here but then again everything that I've tried is amazing! Check it out for some downtown take-out or you can always eat at their one table inside, lol up to you.

Tried this place once many years ago and I concur with Shaun R that this small little hole in the wall serves fantastic food at amazingly cheap prices. I also tried the chimichangas with a side of rice and beans and both were amazingly tasty. What I appreciated the most was how perfectly cooked the rice was (wasn't gummy like it is at many other places). My friend had the bean burrito and she loved it. A winner for sure.
