Do you have a few hundred thousand dollars to spend and want a quickie way to spend it? Come to this store, and I guarantee you can spend it in less than 30 minutes! If you have a heart problem or a cheapness problem, I recommend you do not enter this store.
I've been into my share of furniture stores, and just when I thought a $3000 couch is overpriced, I come across a $1600 dining room chair!! Geez, imagine buying a set of 8!! And then on top of that a table.... The funniest thing about this store is that a lot of items are on sale... I mean c'mon, if someone can afford a $20,000 desk (a beautiful wood executive desk), is it really a deal breaker if the desk is $18,000?
They have some really nice pieces in there.. It's very old school type of furniture, not as modern and young as some of the other places. This place seems to cater to old money, they have their fair share of floral patterned seats, which looks like they belong in my grannies house.
On the third floor, apparently according to a store sign, they are suppose to have "moderately priced furniture".. hmmmm, interesting. I spent a fair share of time on the 3rd floor and didn't come across one moderately priced piece. I found a throw pillow, which I could have easily sewed together for $15 (materials and all), which costs $190. I asked my friend how much he thought the pillow costs, $250 he guessed. Maybe this was the moderately priced piece after all...
