I decided to bring my new Schwinn cruiser bike in to Ride on Sports for a tune up after my boyfriend insisted on putting it together himself and well, I was scared to ride it after watching him and hearing him swear the whole time!! I read the reviews for the community bike shop down the street and decided to give this place a shot instead. The guys were super super friendly and welcoming, they helped me right away and had my bike finished the same day, plus they only charged me $30! Check this place out you won't be disappointed.

I didn't buy anything at Ride On when I went in, I was mostly looking, but the staff were super helpful and they had a decent selection of bikes for a fairly affordable range of prices. They had a bunch of different styles and the guy working stopped what he was doing in the back and came to chat with me about what I wanted. I'd go back to buy a bike if I decide to get a new one.

I have been coming here for quite a while, mainly due to my kiwi friends who have all been working as bike techs here. I trust my friends not to rip me off when i get my tune ups. Ever since i paid $200 for a tune up at Burrard bikes, i don't trust anyone but my friends. The most i have ever paid was $40. Also a great place for accessories like locks, helmets, bells, baskets, etc.
Oh and if you want a bike they have the coolest, trendiest bikes around. Roadies, BMX's, cruisers, hybrid crazy looking things... colour matching tires! A nice selection of used and new bikes. If there is something your are looking for specifically.. they will build it.
