Simply put, awesome. Guys hanging out, glad to help you with anything. I went in to put some better-than-the-currently-crappy pedals on my 1977 Talbot, only to find they were practically fused to my old cranks. I had removed all the deraileurs front and back and done a 'poor man's' single gear conversion (with all the sprockets still on).
Hating my current pedals, not liking the excess bulk of gear weights, the crew offered me a new set of cranks and pedals for less than $60 - installed. Now my bike looks hot shit, has wicked new pedals, weighs less, and is ready to continue on its upgrading adventure. They event leant me a loaner bike while my got fixed up. Straight awesomeness.
Ride-On, you have a customer for life. I was floored at how awesome your crew is.
A misaligned back wheel was misdiagnosed as a bent frame. It turned out to be a bent axle. Only found that out halfway through replacing the frame. The owner was condescending to the point of insult. Won't be back!
I was a nervous-nelly first timer, and now I'm a confidence bike owner with a sweet ride. These people are downright awesome with tons of knowledge. Good selection of bikes from used to new! Also all the accessories you need. If they don't have something, they'll try and get it, so you won't leave disappointed!!
these guys are rad. lots of help; no pressure sales on new bikes over used, affordable options.
they helped me customize my single speed with used parts and really kept the price down.
the dude with the big curly red hair was awesome. these guys aren't snooty bike rats.
This store gets lots of points for their efforts at refurbishing and recycling donated bikes and then selling them as "cheap student bikes". So, they have a pretty nifty selection of different types of bikes that you can pick up for a reasonable cost, and the service here is pretty good too. Don't forget your helmet!
