I came here on a date once and it was *so* much fun. I mean, who after a snazzy dinner date expects to lace up some rented sneakers and swing at birdies until 1am? The whole energy of the place is positive, with competitive young folks burning off energy from boring desk jobs. It's a fun change from sitting around and gorging, though I'm always up for that too!
With multiple courts and friendly peeps, you may want to join another group or just bring your own. In case there is a long wait for a court it's a good idea call ahead to see if they can squeeze you in. -

Was impressed by the size of Richmond Pro, tons of courts and even has a concession stand. The courts were in good condition except the two nearest the men and women locker rooms, those were crooked.
The people who played during drop in hours were a lot more clicky and didn't really want to play with people they didn't know. Luckily my friends and I knew a person and was able to get some games in with people he introduced us to, if he wasn't there we would have been just playing by ourselves.
The front desk was really cool guy, we showed up a early for the drop in session but he allowed us to play anyways. They have massage chairs and a concession stand, Richmond Pro is worth checking out. -

You like badminton? This is the place to be.
They have dedicate surface for just badminton. High ceiling and well ventilated area.
I think there are around 15 courts in total.
If you just want to check it out first, they have Friday and Saturday night drop in from 10pm to 1am! ($6), make sure you are on time as space runs out very quickly.
Make sure you have non marking runners, staff will not let you play if you have runners that mark the court like basketball shoes.
