If you are of the Asian persuasion (like me) then you will love this store. Kimono silk running shoes, Japanese-print belts, shirts, etc., Everything in here is unique in the sense that it is so clearly Japanese. Love that. The only thing missing are Astro Boy jet boots!

This is a great little shop run by a cute husband and wife team carrying all kinds of funky Japanese stuff. In total I think I have bought two pairs of shoes, two belts, and three hats, all of which I *love*, as well as a few great small gifts, all of which were loved.
I stop in whenever I'm in the area and my only wish is that there was more stock turnover... -

This store sells items of a delightful quality: bordering whimsical, pretty, and useful. The fashion and home decor items come in bright, colorful patterns that are nice modern takes on classical motifs.
The staff here are very helpful. I've stopped in twice now and both times been greeted in a welcoming fashion. I can't say the same for many stores these days.
This is a great place to pick up little unique gifts for people who may be difficult to shop for. From make up bags to comfy socks, the products are useful but also pretty enough to please even the fussy people on your gift lists. -

This sweet and tasteful little store carries an impressive range of products all from Japan and much of what is here is made from Kimono fabric including such things as hair bobbles, adorable handbags and even, yes, sneakers. It's worth going into this shop just to be surprised by the range of things you can make from a bolt of beautiful fabric, and you are likely to find something in the way of original gift items. They carry some more typical Asian products (ceramic bowls, artwork), but my favourite things are the items closest to the front of the store that come from the genius of making kimono fabric into, well, just about anything.
