Good stuff only to say about this place.
My stylist, Jessica S is absolutely incredible. I have never, ever been disappointed with what has happened to my hair here. And I'm insanely anal-retentive about my hair. Just ask my fiancee.
I know that I have extremely difficult hair to work with for the type of hair that I like (over the top 80s haircuts? Hell yeah! Nikki Sixx move over.) Yet every time I leave this place my hair looks phenomenal.
The staff here have always been extremely friendly towards me whether it has been the receptionists, my stylist herself or any of the other hairdressers working. At this point I usually go in and say, "make it awesome" because they know what kind of hairstyles I like, but it's also been fabulous when I've requested things other than the normal stuff as well.
The only downside is that I find it to be just a tad on the pricey side, but hey - you get what you pay for. -

Last year I came into Revolutions as a "walk-in" for a quick bang trim.
I sat down in the chair and the hairstylist smelled like an ash tray, which didn't help. Nobody offered to take my jacket and purse so I was forced to leave it on the ground where, of course, there was hair clippings.
She did not even take the hair clips out of my hair or anything, and we were in such a cramped space that she chopped my bangs crooked!
I was in shock that I barely muttered a word the whole time, and walked away in disbelief!
I had to book an appointment with my regular hairstylist to get him to fix it. He did the best he could but I had to have a short fringe and wait for it to grow out. -

Complete re-do of the shop; it needed it. Was looking old, weathered and tired! Definitely more funkier and busier as they have incorporated two shops into one now. Italian Godfather owns 3 hair salons in Metrotown and decided to bring it into the 21st century. All new staff turn-over except the Master stylist Charlene who I recommend hands down along with a couple of the others from the other shop
She knows her stuff, uses top of the line colours, gives you what you want and you will be stopped and asked where you got your hair done. Take it from me, I know.
She is an artist and up on the current trends ala Victoria Beckham's bob which I had the pleasure of strutting my stuff in after a visit to her last wknd. Yup, got what I wanted, decent price and ready to say Hello Summer where you been? Bring it on! -

I've been going here for years and see Christine, she is the best stylist I've ever had. Actually does an amazing job and fun to talk to. I recommend her to my friends and they always end up going back to her.

PJ at Revolutions gave me nice highlights and a good cut. His blowout/styling is amazing though. My hair never looked so good (too bad I can't replicate it at home!).
