I was craving for some spice after eating the bland canadian / america / french picking in QC, so decided to check out this place. The interior looks nice and its in the heart of the old city so decided to take the plunge.

We were 4 adults and a baby. We get in and the place filled up shortly after. Firstly it took them a long time to show up at your table. Then another 15 minutes to get you water, another 10- to get you a menu, finally an other after 15 minutes, just appatizer ( I don't want to spend a whole day of my vacation ordering chineese food ).

The food was below average, the soup was large bowls which was a suprise, they did not server green tea or any other complements. I asked for hot sauce, I was given some off-the shelf habenoro sauce that was HOT not much flavour.

We ordered 3 vegetarian dishes and one chicken dish. The Chicken dish was sour. The classic mapo tofu tased alien ( maybe the french influence). The white rice war dry and crisp ( i returned it and asked them to give me a fresh bowl of white rice).

The chineese/asian owners out of site and a couple of blond canadians taking the orders ( i should have run as soon as I saw this). Who know it maybe another white guy dishing chineese food in the kitchen..... the check was approx 25$ a person ( Too much for this lousy food). AVOID.

    The worst food!
Starve your kids if they are hungry.
    Do not order this crap.
    We ordered it for delivery.

In a nutshell - this place APPEARED awesome (somewhat fancy even), with a big menu that had photos which made everything look awesome.

I got the hot n soup soup. It tasted like they took 3 different kinds of mushrooms, added some balsamic vinegar and microwaved it. Then there was a plate of DEEP FRIED everything - hence it all tasted the same. Deep fried chicken balls, deep fried shrimp, deep fried wontons - all in the same batter.

The main dish was General Tao - More like General Same-Sauce-As-THe-Nasty-Hot-N-SOur-Soup.

Overall, for around 30$ per person, you get the same quality food as you would in buying a 4.99$ Wong Wing Frozen Chinese dinner at your local grocery store.

ok - that was a little harsh of me. Désolé wok n roll.
