Not as cosy as say the Cochon Dingue or some others, but this place had room and was very good. Friendly staff. With French origins I thought the food came a bit fast but still okay to enjoy the evening.

Probably the best meal I've ever had.
We were with a group of people and had dinner on a fixed menu. The server brought a salami appetizer to the table, one massive plate for everyone. Seriously, the entire table could have shared two of these and that would have been enough food!
My husband and I asked if we could have something with fish instead, as we don't eat meat. We are given a huge salad, with shrimp and an amazing homemade mayonnaise dressing. So, so good.
And so big I couldn't finish my seafood soup, which was oh-so-delicious. it's something I would have not have even considering trying either, had it not been brought out to me. But I'm so glad it was the menu selection-it was amazing! The soup had shrimp, mussels and whitefish.
I don't think I've ever been so full in my life. I know I'm raving, but it was that good! -

We came here on our last night of our stay in Quebec. So glad we saved it for last as it ended up being our favorite meal. I had the chicken breast with goat brie in a puff pastry. I would have liked a little more Brie, but the chicken was very tender and the red wine sauce iit was served on was delicious. My partner had the fish of the day and really enjoyed it. She also added the soup and dessert for an extra $7.50. It was well worth it. She really liked the cream of celery soup and the chocolate mousse dessert was one of our favorite treats of the weekend. We would come back here anytime we were in Quebec.

Honestly the worst dining experience I've ever had. We were seated very quickly but that's where the positives stop.
We sat down and drink menus were handed out shortly thereafter. We waited about 10 minutes to order drinks and they arrived about 15 minutes later. I could see a couple sitting nearby trying to flag someone over so they could order theirs. We drained our drinks before anyone even came over to take our order. After about another 10 minutes sitting there, we finally got the attention of our waiter. The odd thing is that the restaurant was empty so I cannot understand why the service was so poor.
We waited nearly an HOUR to get our food. Our drinks weren't replenished the entire time either. I ordered the fish of the day which happened to be sea bass. First of all, the fish was cooked properly but had way too much smoke flavor. It tasted as if they placed it directly on hot coals. There was some sort of sweet potato puree that tasted like nothing but pure salt. The "veggies" were an oily mess and the rice tasted like Uncle Ben's instant rice. To top it off, everything was cold.
This place is not cheap either, about 20 an entree. I can't imagine this place being open very much longer.
