If you ever attended the Universite de Sherbrooke, you probably can't recall le pot au feu and not express some kind of nostalgia. For so many years, this little neighborhood restaurant has been the source of delicious drunken poutine experiences.
The poutine itself is very average. The sauce is thick, very dark and a distinctive aftertaste that I didn't care much for. Most of my experiences with them has let to a mushy mess (and not in a good way).
If you're an alum and plan to stop on your next stop back in town, be wary of the sober pot-au-feu poutine experience. It won't be as good as you remember it, unless you plan on getting drunk again.
