Parmesan was a great surprise...if you are in Upper Quebec, I strongly recommend you stop by for a sensational meal.

Restaurant Parmesan was an accident for us...we were a party of six (three adults and three kids) and had just arrived into town and were looking for a good, not overly expensive, kid friendly meal at a friendly restaurant with a full bar.

The staff and owner were exceptionally friendly and managed to seat us virtually immediately, despite being very busy.

The waiter was extremely polite, attentive, friendly and happy to speak English and made excellent food and wine suggestions.

The restaurant is relatively small, and quite crammed with all manner of fun to look at tchotchkes on the walls and ceiling...very kitschy but cute and cozy as well.

We tried the Bruschetta, Calamari, and Salmon for appetizers (all were good but the Salmon was sensational) and the Veal with Lemon and Linguini, and the Spaghetti Bollognese, both of which were outstanding...the veal in particular which a few of us had was out of this world...tender that you could cut it with a fork and some of the best we have ever had.

I rate this place somewhere between a 4 and a 4.5 and strongly reocmmend you give it a shot.  Great meal, great service, good fun.  Woth a visit!

I can't believe this restaurant hasn't been reviewed yet!

My husband and I ate here on the last day of our honeymoon in Quebec.  After having many variations of French food throughout the week, we decided to try Quebec's take on Italian.

The restaurant is small, and crammed with all manner of tchotchkes on the walls and ceiling...very kitschy but cute and cozy as well.

Our waitress was happy to speak English with us, and was helpful in answering questions we had about the menu.

Mark had chicken parmesan served with spaghetti bolognese, and I had veal picatta with linguine.  The prices are steep (as they are at all Quebec restaurants), but the portions were enormous.  My veal was so tender, I could cut it with just a fork, and the flavor was phenomenal.  Mark is very picky about his chicken parm, but he loved it and polished off the whole thing.

The only reason I'm giving 4 stars is because the tables are really packed in, making it difficult to to move around.

Overall, I would absolutely recommend this restaurant; it was one of the highlights of our week.

Had a terrible experience here.  We were initially seated at a table for 2 near the entrance, but were moved when a group arrived and they wanted to combine tables to accommodate them.  We were placed at a take by the kitchen which was so cramped that waiters kept bumping into us.  This placed was VERY loud. You can't really hold a conversation.  Food was mediocre at best. Price was high for the quality, but that seems to be the norm for Quebec.

Probably the worst meal I have ever had in a restaurant for a high price. Food was really expensive and I have had much better pasta soup for fraction of the price. We still talk about this place as the worst restaurant experience - we've ever had.

I took my family to Quebec City this past summer for some fun even though it is a 14 hour drive from Ohio. We had a good time and spent a lot of money, but we ended up leaving a day early mostly due to the rude behavior we received at this restaurant. We had eaten dinner earlier in the evening and were heading back towards our hotel, but decided on dessert and like the variety shown on the menu on display at the street. After waiting for a for a few minutes were were greeted and then seated. Our waitress asked us if we would like some drinks or appetizers and we indicated that we would like to look at the dessert menu. She came bak with those and again asked if we would like a drink. I indicated that  we might want a drink, but that it would depend on our dessert choice. The manager then came over and told us that "we do not do that here" and said that they could accommodate dessert customers after 9pm. We were quickly escorted out and onto the street! It was slightly depressing to be dealt with in this manner after being such good tourists all week. Don't think I will head back to this city. Just left a bad impression.
