The simplest way to explain what the Restaurant Association of Nova Scotia, lovingly known as RANS, is to let them do it themselves. "a non-profit association that seeks to promote the food and beverage sector and impact the operating environment of the industry in a positive way. Through government advocacy, marketing and promotion, education and outreach"
And they do a wonderful job on so many levels...the opportunity for restauranteurs and their suppliers to network; lobbists to promote the interests of their constituents to government; media relations; monthly newsletter to keep busy members informed of all things important.
Plus, no one puts on great food and drink events better than RANS. The recent month-long Savour Food and Wine events in February to promote the best of the best that is Nova Scotia restaurants, wineries and other fabulous purveyors of local delights.
Next up...ahhhh, you'll have to just keep checking back. I know I will. The events are always fantastic.
