Today I finally managed to make it to the Regal Heights Bistro for the Sunday Live Jazz Brunch. I'm glad I finally did! Having good food, in a nice atmosphere with live jazz is a real treat to have around the corner.
Their brunch menu is tiny, but the eggs florentine were very good and their espresso drinks are nice. Boom is probably the better neighborhood brunch spot, but the vibe at the bistro is much nicer and it's way less crowded.
I'll definitely be making the brunch a regular event!Listed in: My Neighborhood

Regal Heights Bistro is a favourite brunch spot for my SO and I - we can't stop going! They do a live jazz brunch every Sunday which is wonderful!
It is a small, delicious menu with lovely, simple but flavourful, upscale food (i.e. you will have to ask for ketchup for your french fries and it will come in a little bowl with a little spoon). That said, it is completely casual and unpretentious - the staff are warm and welcoming, not snooty at ALL!
A largely undiscovered gem, RHB is a bargain - the quality of food and the atmosphere of the venue compared to the price you pay is fantastic!
It is family-friendly - there are always lots of babies/toddlers when we go for Sunday brunch.
Their espresso/lattes are wonderful too!
