I am in love.
And I hate furniture shopping. Really. Always hated it. But I walked into this place and felt comfortable and familiar...beautiful teak furnishings, lovely lamps, old school serving trays. So sweet. Oh and I also didn't feel personally offended by the mark up!
After finding 2 items I put on hold, I spent the rest of the day on Main and Commercial, comparison shopping and nothing came close. Nothing came close to the options, the prices, the range...but i warn you, it is jam packed up in there. So grab a coffee and take your time to just parouse. So much fun. I swear.
And owner Bart is a peach. His motto...as long as people leave smiling...i'm happy. Awesome.
So if you have a taste for vintage...don't even bother with all the other spots. Make your list, check it twice, and head on down to ReFind. -

Anyone who knows me knows my die-hard obsession with mid-century modern decor, and this is where I get a lot of it. I started coming here when it opened because I used to visit The Fabulous Find one store over (they have since switched owners and it's just not the same). Bart (the owner of ReFind) is incredibly helpful and friendly, and often lowers the price on things. He once held a table I purchases for me for a month, then delivered it. The prices here are far better than any of the other mid-century leaning antique stores I've seen, and it's just more unique. If you can put up with the Bob Marley jams on constant rotation, you'll find something here that you can't live without.

In the words of Edward Norton (via "Fight Club") what do you do when ..."Like everyone else, I had become a slave to the IKEA nesting instinct" The answer; stop shopping retail outlets bent on the homogenization of your living room!
Your apartment, loft, house or your typical cubical sized vancouver home says just as much about you as the Urban Outfitters cardi on your shoulders.
ReFind, street buddy to "Your Fabulous Find" should definitely be a stop on your quest to reclaim your living room.
Filled with mid-century decor and furniture this place has the style and originality to bring "you" into your home. With constantly updated merchandise, home delivery available and laid back sales people this place is a winner.
Plus they've got a moto to live by "Re-Use / Re-Cycle / Re- Find!" -

Lots and lots of little gems you can get for almost a reasonable price. Staff is helpful and friendly.
