Big place but we were the only ones there .  Friendly server with good reds.  They aren't usually open in the winter much but we rang the bell and he opened up and let us taste.  We bought a bottle of something red.   Great views

This was my first stop on the Naramata Bench and I was not disappointed!

The wines were fantastic and we loved their tasting room.

4 stars? The Merlot. All wrong.

Red Rooster is another winery with a gorgeous vista of the valley, lake and vineyards. They have some interesting statues around their grounds and the art continues inside -- there's a gallery upstairs.

Since we were there in a group of seven, we were taken to a private tasting area on the patio. It was a great way to enjoy the wines! Our host was charming, knowledgeable and had a great sense of humour. He said "let's just be wine snobs for a minute" and then talked to us about some esoteric wine topics.

He also dealt as well as he could when a hen party joined us outside. They were totally smashed and obnoxious, in addition to being dressed as hussies (at 2pm at a winery -- clubbing is a different story). They were loud, broke a wine glass and spilled another. It was a mess.

Our group just moved aside and the host tried his best to deal with both groups. It was an impressive feat!

They have loads of wines to try, and even more on sale in the shop. Most are quite reasonable price points too!
