Review from Arnold P.
I usually come here once a month for the garden burger bunless (lettuce wrap) during lunch, work is 5mins away. The service is slow, probably because they're understaffed. Other than that, It's your typical burger chain restaurant.
It's not memorable, it's just close to work. -

This is just like all the other Red Robins. It's Red.
I normally have my business meetings here when I'm out in this part of town.
The food is always predictable and it's easy to have a meeting here. During weekday lunch time, it's not too noisy and I can usually get a decent sized table or booth.
Staff service is prompt and polite.
I had a chicken burger today with salad.
Can't really do anything wrong with that.
If you want one of the burger options but want it with chicken instead, that's no problem. Or Vice Versa is ok too. I think they charge an extra buck for that. -

Huge selection of burgers. I tend to stick with my favourites but I've loved pretty much every one I've tried.
I always get a side of 'buzz sauce' too, which goes great on the burger and with the fries.
Prices are a bit high for a burger, so I won't be giving full stars, even though I realize it's the standard these days for gourmet burgers.
Good kids menu and activity sheet. It's our 4-year-old's favourite restaurant. -

By the teengers ... for the teenagers.
Our college bro waiter was like a big, dumb, clumsy, overly friendly ineffectual puppy. He dropped a bowl of cheese in my drink. He cleaned up the mess of cheese and soda on the table with his hand. He was sorry that it took him so long to get back with more cheese that our meals were half done, but there were several metaphorical trees to pee on and legs to hump on the way. He forgot to bring me another drink. He charged us for sides that he forgot to bring. He blamed the kitchen.
He called me "dude". I am an adult woman. I do not take that as a compliment.
The food is ... fine. Utterly uninteresting, standardized, boring. It's burgers and fries. Who cares. -

It's Red Robin, everyone knows what to expect when you go into a Red Robin.
I've had good times and I've had bad times here. The bad time was pretty frustrating: my buddy ordered the bacon and avocado burger, which arrived without bacon. When he asked about it- the server went away for a while and came back with a side of bacon. Not really acceptable, since it was clear that my buddy had stopped eating the burger deliberately because it was missing a key ingredient - what the server SHOULD have done was take his burger away and bring him a new one, bacon et al, and then not charged him for it since it was a pretty bad screw up.
That already had us agitated - so when we paid and the server's bad mental math had him chasing after me after I had already left the restaurant because he undercharged me and wanted me to come back, made my buddy of the bad bacon burger flip out.
The other few times I've been there have been without issue - as always, the Whiskey River BBQ burger is my favourite, and is on my top-burgers-of-vancouver list. -

On the back end of Lougheed Mall, your typical bottomless fries and monster burger shack. We came here needing a place we have not been to, and this was on the list to complete. Big burgers, and big fries, check.
I was actually surprised at the size of this restaurant. It is hidden in the corner of the back plaza, but once you enter, the restaurant is huge, with all the fixings of a Red Robins, including the brass railing, red booths, and plastic life sized statue of the cartoon bird itself, this is definately a Red Robin's.
I haven't been to one of these places in years, and decided to go back to what I usually order, the Banzai burger. It definately is the same burger, yet I probably have lost my taste buds for this. It is still juicy and sloppy as how I remember it, but with smaller pieces of pineapple. The one complaint I do have is the fries, I thought they were better, maybe they are the same, but just not that good.
Any entree (sandwich) you get here is running you after tax and tip, from $15 and up, so not too much bang for the buck here. No real daily specials either, so unless your really craving this place, go someowhere else.
