Even back from the high school days, still holds a touching moment.
As always, I will order either the Banzai burger w/ a juicy pineapple or the Whiskey BBQ burger.
And the onion rings or gooey mozzarella cheese sticks are winners too ;)
Unfortunately, they don't do the free Mudd Pie for the birthdays ;( -

Red Robin's isn't exactly my style, but it does provide a satisfactory experience.
Parking is ample in the adjacent parking lot (Station Square). I always chuckle when I see Cave-on Foods (for those who don't know, the roof collapsed here once, Google it).
The interior layout is definitely on the snug side. The waiting area is too small, meaning that people are packed inside like sardines. Inside, the tables are difficult to rearrange. Our party of 6 ended up packed onto 2 separate tables for the first half of our meal.
For beer, they have Rickard's Red on tap, but Rickard's White only in bottle form. Why oh why?
In terms of food, my friend swears by "Clucks and Greens" (chicken strips, garlic bread, and salad). I had a Prime Chophouse burger. RR really gets the sauteed onions right. The other burger I know of that with this magical ingredient is the Whiskey River BBQ Burger, which is also super awesome. The onion rings here are also really tasty, though unfortunately quite pricey.
One last thing. There are TVs here showing sports (usually the Canucks).
It's generally a good time here, as long as you don't mind the busy/hectic atmosphere. -

Red Robin, the ultimate high school hangout and adolescent birthday place of choice. I've had a many birthday gatherings at this place. I wonder if the staff still break out into song and dance when it is mentioned that a birthday boy or girl is present.
The food is typically western fair, heavy on the carbs and protein and lacking any depth or enthusiasm. But its still a great place to come if you are looking for a quick mediocre bite. The fries ain't bad and they're endless, but I wonder what kind of concoction of corn meal and filler is in them? They definitely aren't cut from whole potatoes. They do the job of filling an empty stomach which is all that matters in some cases.
On my last visit I had a very cheesy mac and cheese pasta dish which came with garlic bread and a salad. It was soooo cheesy that I had the cheese sweats after eating it. Sucks to have an Asian constitution for food, i.e. can barely tolerate any form of dairy, but continually eat it because its so damn good!
I have to say though, their brownie with vanilla ice cream dessert is awesome, but I'm a major sweet tooth fiend. They drizzle it with tons of chocolate hot sauce and the brownie comes warm almost like its fresh from the oven. So gooooooood!

The thing I like most about Red Robin is it is reliable. If I am looking for a good burger and don't wanna mess around this is the place to go, especially considering there is few places in this area to get a burger!
I like that any burger can be substituted for the Garden burger, it makes their vegetarian options almost limitless!
The service this visit was mediocre but it is typically quite good. -

Red Robin isn't my first choice for food in the area, but I do come in occasionally!
Clucks and fries/salad are always a standard good choice and so are the wraps and burgers!
For anyone with a gluten allergy: any burger can be made wrapped in leaves of fresh lettuce instead of a bun.
Even if you don't have a gluten allergy, TRY this! You don't feel super stuffed afterward and in need of a nap :P -

My friends and I (totally 9) settled on Red Robins because it was close, affordable and could easily swag a table on a Saturday night. In total, our wait was about 15 min, which is a-okay.
The staff were awesome -- friendly and hardworking. Red Robins even let me change change types of patties for free. The veggie burger was beyond boring, so I changed it to the burger with guac (I love avocados!). YAY! The burger was decent, not the worse and not the best. I ordered the yam fries and they were sub par. I sampled my friend's normal french fries and they were much better. The fries were piping hot and crispy; whereas, the yam fries were warm and a lil soggy.
I give this place a 3.5, but rounded it up b/c of the excellent customer service. -

The burger here is OK. Nothing special but also not disappointing. This place serves consistent burgers in decent portions sizes. The best part is the bottomless steak fries. Or maybe the best part is that Red Robins seasoning.
The service is OK. Most of the staff are friendly but on a busier night, they may forget to bring you water after 2 or 3 times. You just sort of get used to it. Keep reminding them. Eventually your water will come. They have no problems getting the refills on bottomless fries though, that they did a good job on. Maybe there was just a shortage of water we weren't aware of.
If you go there, I recommend the milkshake. It's delicious. Mine came with adequate whip cream and sprinkles (coloured... jealous?).
Overall, I would recommend this restaurant. The price and the atmosphere all matched my expectations. -

Okay so, in my meat eating days- I used to love Red Robin... After, I'm going to say about 3 years of not eating RR, I came to this one in Vancouver. In the old days I would have ordered a Mushroom Burger or the Seafood Scatter thingy, but this time, I ordered a Cod Burger, while my little guy & Hubbie ordered a Western Cheeseburger.
I enjoyed mine, of course I did feel a little chubbster after, and I only ate half. And my poor boys, got sick for 5 days after.... Not quite sure how this happened, but it was after our RR meal for sure.
Now, we are all scared to eat here, or at any of the RR chains. It's so sad!
On a positive note, I think the best thing about RR is the bottomless fries- because I LOVE POTATOES! Now, I can't have them....
I hope to regain some type of courage to eat here again, all of those potatoes have my name written all over it... :P -

Red Robbin is old school compared to Milestones, Cactus Club, Joeys.
But I like it. I especially like the Metrotown location because of their outdown patio.
Banzai burger and teriyaki chicken burger rock.
Definitely when you think of Red Robin you think Burgers & Endless fries.
Nice big menu.Listed in: Chains: The real truth

I had an amazing time here at Red Robins. This will always be the best service and best atmosphere of all the Red Robins I have been to. I have been to all the Red Robins in the Lower mainland including Surrey.
I love how the waiters are extremely friendly to their customers. I do appreciate the place being up to part with their food as well. Their drinks are amazing, and the bar tenders are always smiling and always happy with their customers.
The food is well done, and the waiter was always attentive with his customers. He always filled our tables with potatoes, and the food came extremely fast with me and my large party. They know how to accomodate large parties perfectly, and the drinks were always filled when empty.
This place is the perfect place for a quick grub and a large party with friends. Love the food and the drinks. I enjoy it the most. -

Old-school - burgers and bottomless fries . . .
If you like burgers and fries, then you'll probably like Red Robin. If you don't like burgers and fries, then you will probably want to keep searching. Consistent, decent size portions, friendly staff. A-OK in my books. The Metrotown location is definitely my favorite, but bear in mind I only go for burgers and fries when all other local dining options are full. -

A very good friend of mine said to me last week "The best thing about expecting to be disappointed is that you can't lose. Either it meets your expectations, or it's great." He could have been talking about Red Robin. As long as you don't expect too much you'll always be satisfied. Just don't ever be tempted to try anything other than a burger.
The one way Red Robin wins over other family restaurants I've tried is how quick the service is. With hungry kids, getting the food on the table within 10 minutes stops the kids turning squirrely and the evening turning bad. -

A great Red Robin location near the mall. The service was very friendly and personable, the food was good and speed of service was quick. The prices were high, but it is Red Robin and it is in a tourist area. The shrimp appetizer was an amazing value for the money and is highly recommended!

I'm not a fan of Red Robin, but I'm a fan of their guacamole bacon burger.. Enough said!

Alas, some of my favourite items have been removed from Red Robin's menu, but it's still a fun place to eat, with a pretty extensive menu, friendly staff, and nice touches like endless fries and "bottomless" glasses of pop. I normally go for the Banzai Burger, but the fajitas are great, too. The Mudd Pie is great, but I generally whine to my server that they don't have the banana splits made with deep fried bananas anymore. Those were magical.

After eating at Red Robins in Texas, Washington State and now Burnaby, BC this is the worst location yet. We were seated within five minutes of our arrival on a Saturday night at 9:30 pm. Our waiter immediately introduced himself and took our drink order. We were visiting from the Seattle area with our two young daughters. Our oldest order a kid's corndog off the kid's menu and we were informed about the time our food should have arrived they were sold out of Corndogs, so she got a cheese pizza instead. Our youngest had a grilled cheese that barely had the cheese melted. It was late so I didn't want a large heavy meal so I too ordered off the kid's menu. I ordered the bacon cheeseburger and that was a mistake! The bun was too burnt for my braced teeth to conquer. I have a personal policy against sending food back as I have worked in the fast food industry and know what could happen unfortunately. My husband had the salmon and chips. He was fortunate as his food was the only food served hot at our table! It seemed like our young waiter had several tables that were spread out across the restaurant and he was constantly running back and forth. Because of that we were forced to wait longer than average amounts of time or refills. When we return to this area in the future I plan to AVOID this location of Red Robin and I suggest you do too. The ONLY reason I rated them as high as I did at 2 stars was the fact the onion rings was awesome and while our waiter failed miserably he did try to do hid job.

The food is really good. The burgers and wraps are awesome, the steak fries are okay but nothing super special. The yam fries are really good though.
I'm really conflicted about the service. They try to be really nice and helpful, but sometimes it just feels like too much- like they're at your table every two seconds asking you if everything is okay... until you want to pay... and then they are MIA. Also I always get the feeling they're kind of stressed out, which is obviously not their fault, but it makes me a bit uncomfortable.
