I was reminded of this place because of my Island Foods review and this is the spot you should check out if you're looking for some good, "home style" Caribbean cooking.
It's tiny. It's in one of those wierd stripmalls on Dundas in Mississauga and you'd never know it was anything spectacular by driving past but if you get the chance, go there.
This was the place that introduced me to doubles so many years ago. They were so good that I had to go back inside right after I ate the first two. Everything I've eaten there has been great and the place is usually packed, which isn't hard to do since there's really only enough seating for twenty or so people.
I've only ever had take out so I'm not sure if they even have bathrooms, but the place is cramped and not all that well lit. You order at a cafeteria style counter and wait till your order is called. Get extra napkins because things tend to be greasy but so good. Fat is flavour afterall.
