This review is for this particular location of Red Lobster.
When we arrived there was a waiting line of about 7 people in front of us. They gave us a buzzer and we walked around the plaza for about 25 minutes before the buzzer went off. So my experience was during rush hour.
Once seated, we were welcomed by our waiter fairly quickly. He was very helpful and delivered great customer service via conversation and serving. The food was good; in fact it was better then my previous experience with red lobster in another city. For some reason the fountain pop had a particularly off putting taste, not sure if there was just something wrong that day.
Overall I would recommend this location. -

I remember loving the cheddar bay biscuits at Red Lobster so when I spotted one while driving around Ottawa, I had to go! The biscuits were as expected...warm and delicious. I can't even discuss my meal because I basically just ate biscuits.

This place surprised me in a good way. I remember going as a kid, the cheese buns haven't changed one bit.
Yes a lot of things here come with a processed sauces, but you just have to be careful what you order if you are sensitive to those things. I had a really awesome Haddock sandwich and had a salad instead of fries.
Our server was great, he knew his timing, and was really funny and friendly.
The desserts here are huge so I recommend splitting it in size. -

I've always had great service at this location. It's red lobster. What else to say?
I guess for those who have no idea what to expect, red lobster is a seafood oriented restaurant. This location is very child friendly. Favorites include the Admirals feast, ultimate feast, and the choose any three. All these offer a selection of garlic shrimp and scallops, broiled shrimp, and either lobster tail or fish. One thing to note is the lobster tails I've gotten have never been amazing in size. I think you'll get a great size if lobster tail if you order the steak combo with the rock lobster tail. The pick your three is flexible option for those who want a little of everything.
Steak and Chicken are other options available on the menu. The last time I went I tried the steak and found that it was a bit tough.
Overall a decent family restaurant if you're in the mood for seafood. -

stopped here for lunch while shopping. slow service and typical red lobster menu. i wanted a quick event that i knew the menu and could have a quick in and out for lunch. did not happen. the waitstaff seems to think everyone is out for a long lunch and that makes it all better. will not go again.
