Most of these comments have hit the nail on the coffin.
The Red Fox is an old school establishment that is one of the few 'jewels' left from the pre-Bayers Lake migration of Bayers Road Shopping Centre establishments of the mid to late 90's.
I head out here with my mother once in a while; she orders the chicken wings and I either get the clubhouse and fries or the lasagna.
The restaurant is essentially divided into two areas - the 'karaoke' area when you enter through the front door and the 'liars' area if you go in through the back - I say this about the back area since it is home to the famous liar's club and liar's table.
The food is pretty good on the whole although there are some questionable characters in there later in the night; however, I guess this adds to the experience.
Thursday nights is generally packed because it is wing night and karaoke later in the evening; there are also shuffleboard tables in the liar's area. -

The Red Fox is your typical tavern; lots of beer, lots of seats and lots of interesting people. Why not head over to the Red Fox on a Thursday night; with delicious wings, great beer and interesting entertainment nothing can be better. Wings are $.50 and are huge and tasty, and beer is relatively inexpensive.
Service was OK, but absolutely nothing special.
Don't forget; not only are Thursday's wing night, they are also Karaoke night. So if your in the mood to sing your heart out without judgment this is a good place to do it. -

This is a place that everyone at my work goes to on Friday nights. . I think this may be as low brow as you can get for a pub. Which I suppose is why we all love going there. Their pitchers are at a good price and you're certainly never going to feel as though you've committed any social faux pas while being a patron of this place. Aside maybe from the ultimate social faux pas of hanging out at a place that is no way cool, high brow or downtown.

I've actually have been here multiple times. At first I didn't like it because of it being a little dingy, smoky, and a lot of cross-eyed people like to just hang out here.
Anyway, the food that I've was actually really good.
I don't do Seafood at restaurants, so I've had the lasagna, club sandwich, chicken fingers, poutine and nachos. I liked everything
They give you a card and you get a stamp for every meal you have, and Tuesday are double stamps. Once the card is full, you get $10 off your next meal... -

The Red Fox is one of those old school tavern's. It has been there through a few generations.
It offers, entertainment, Dj's and tavern food. I would say the food will satisfy the craving , the Thursday night wings are an overall hit for everyone. -

Red Fox Tavern has been know to the Bayer's Road area for a long time. It has gone through many changes along with the mall itself and still seems to hang in there.
Rex Fox is home to Thursday night wings for all to enjoy. Good size wings that are extremely tasty. I remember many night at the Fox and listing to many bands over the many weekend. We always used to have our high school reunions there due to the lay out of the bar. Large open space. If the band is not there then it is either Karaoke night or a house DJ is always there to entertain.
Large fully stocked bar at the front of the room houses a wide range of on tap as well at the good hard stuff. all food at the tavern is actually very good, they have amazing burgers and french fries.
Go check it out and enjoy a night of wings and entertainment. -

Have to agree with other the reviewer. Red Fox has been around for a long time. Same pub food as every where else, service is good as usual. I would say it has lost it's character that it once had back in the 80's. On the up side, wings on Thursday night are awesome.
