This place is the place to be for the best cuts of meat. No matter what you`re looking for, they can get it for you. Whether it`s fresh ground beef or a specially ordered roast (my pulled pork has never been so good), you won`t be disappointed. They do all their own smoking and dry aging, so people like me (who are sensitive to artificial smoking products, MSG, sulphites and the like) never have to worry about what I get from here.
The free range chicken products are huge! My fiance and I can eat a chicken breast between the two of us, and what I usually use a few breasts for, I can use a few thighs for. The bacon is to die for, and the jerky (especially the pork) is a must try. I`ve never met a meat from Real Deal that I didn`t like.
The icing on the cake has got to be the staff. No matter who you talk to, they are friendly and knowledgeable, even if you feel like you`re asking a dumb question. We`re moving to the opposite end of the city, but we will be continuing to make trips to Real Deal to get our meat (and eggs). You really can`t beat their meat! -

I absolutely love this place, it's everything I look for in a butcher,
All their products are of the highest quality, from the AAA Angus beef (Halal certified) to their wide range of organic and free range bison, pork and chicken.
They also carry fresh hutterite farm eggs and all their smoked products are made in store and do not contain any wheat, MSG or gluten.
If you have any questions on how to prepare or cook the meats, Darcy is more than willing to help you out.
I highly recommend the bacon and have it cut to your preferred thickness. Really makes it hard to go back to the prepackaged bacon available at your local supermarkets.
