Worse parking lot ever for Superstore and the amount of time it takes to walk up the ramp! Booo!!!

I rarely shop at Superstore and if I do, I'm usually with my mom. I'd pick Safeway, Shoppers, London Drugs over Superstore. Its always packed with people and I don't really like how they organized this location. Perhaps it feels overwhelming when I finally reach the top of the ramp :(

Of all of the Superstore locations that I've been at, this one is the least favorable.
The reason why this store is around is because of the demographic there. If it's cheap, they will come.
The parking lot at this location is a zoo, as mentioned by previous reviewers. You can find yourself driving for ages trying to find a parking space. Sometimes there are drivers that park in a diagonal or way over the line that you'll need a Smart Car to park in that space.

One time my friend parked near the end of the parking lot and walking all the way to the entrance of Superstore is like playing a game called "Don't get run over!" Drivers cutting you (pedestrian) off  to get into a spot or backing out blindly. The patrons at the store are even worse! They walk into you!

Other than that, the store is clean. The produce looks decent (not totally picked over).

Be careful of on sale products! They are expired! Read them carefully before purchasing! As well, asking for any products is useless, they'll tell you they don't have it because they are lazy to go in the back.

One of the nicer superstores in the lower mainland area. Superstore suspended on pillars so a parking lot can fit underneath is just genius.

Known for its cheap prices compared to save-on's and Safeway, this place is packed full of asians on the weekends.

Superstore is one of those places where everyone shops at.

This location is a bit different from most others in the way that the entire ground floor is one giant parking lot. This is both a blessing and a curse.  The good news is that parking is very close to the entrance. The bad news is that you have to up and down this huge long ramp, or take this insanely slow elevator to go up/down 1 floor.

The inside is clean.  They've done some renovations recently, and it shows.  Everything is what you'd expect from a Superstore, with rows and rows of good, selling most things you would want to buy.

The craziest location for any big box grocer - off 3 road? Come one people.

It's always a traffic nightmare there. I just feel like a canned sardine.

This location is way cleaner and nicer to shop in than the Superstore on Marine drive. Their 'Joe Fresh' clothing line is pretty good if you're looking for some cheap basics like tee-shirts, flip flops, sweaters, etc..

The only thing with bigger stores is that you need to check the expiry date on everything - especially if they put it on sale. I didn't check once and brought home 2 month expired popcorn! Customer service gave me a refund and they said they'd look into it but a week later, I still saw the same expired popcorn on the shelves.

Note: Remember to bring your reusable bags!

I like this location better than the one on Marine Drive and Main. That is mostly because of the Self-Check Out stations!!!

It's still not inspiring, but since this is huge, I was able to find what I couldn't find at Save-On down the street (cream of tartar). But since I usually need more general items, this will probably just remain my back-up place.

This Canadian Superstore have been around since the early 90s.
It sells clothes, groceries, pretty much anything you need. Very organized and they don't call it superstore for no reason. I love going up and down the ramp with my shopping cart.

Yikes, I hate the toilets! After all these years, is it that hard to have it clean??Parking is easy. They also have 2 Chinese cafe downstairs. I never tried the food. So, can't comment on that.

This place charges 5cents per plastic bag. So, bring your own bags. Or you can buy theirs for $1.99  Cashiers are pretty friendly.

    My rating is 3.5

Do you know what I hate? Walking up a huge long ramp for no reason every time I need a jug of milk. If only the location on Marine didn't get raided instantly of meat and produce I would go there instead.

Also I think I have saved $60 from this location alone by the scanner code of practice rule because this location seems to never have the correct price listed on the till.

Throwing a Superstore in Richmond, and right on No. 3 Road is a traffic nightmare in it's own right! When this location first opened, it was alot worse, as it was the new big-box shop in town, but things have died down, but not by much. You still have the crazy parking lot that you have to manuver with other crazy looking for deals, shopping for the month of grocery type families.

This Superstore in one word is: huge. When you enter this monster of a store, you really feel the size of this thing. The one thing I must say from the start is, that I do not like the entrance, I mean, it is great if you are pushing a cart, as you have to make this long walk up a ramp, turn on to another ramp and you are there, but where is the "save your time" stairway for people who aren't mass shopping, and being crammed into the stroller-way.

Other than that, this is probably one of the most central locations for a Superstore in the Lower Mainland, and that it adds to the congestion of cars. Just remember, when you are coming here, it is never a simple run in, and run out, it takes some effort at this store.

Real Canadian Superstore is pretty much the equivalent of a Walmart Supercenter. This location is on No.3 Road in the vicinity of the Golden Village. Parking is underneath the store. There are a number of shops below Real Canadian including HK BBQ Master that I previously reviewed.

The store has typical grocery items. Though in my visit here, I was amazed by the different products that I do not see in the US. Like assorted Indian and East Asian groceries for the most part. Most traditional stores carry very little of these products. They even sell copies of a Chinese language daily paper here which I thought was interesting.

Checkout is fairly simple. There is an additional fee for bags, so bring some if you are buying a lot from here. Like Amary N. mentioned in a previous review, the restrooms here are gross. Typically stores like Walmart and Target in the U.S. have clean ones, so surprised by the lack of cleanliness here.

Overall, I think Real Canadian has a good selection of items. It was interesting to compare Real Canadian to their American counterparts.
