i'm a huge cupcake person. have tried almost all the cupcakes places in Toronto.
who knew this little store in London, Ontario would blow my mind.
the flavors really come through. cake base is super moist. tons of variety. its really the place to go to for cupcakes. -

I have been sampling cupcakes far and wide, and Razzle Dazzle takes the cake (get it? ha!).
I think the key to their success is the flavouring. They have such a variety of flavours, and none of them taste artificial at all. I think they use real fruit, which naturally adds colour so no need for artificial colouring. I hate when bakeries add a ton of food dye to get the colours to stand out, because it really does affect the taste.
The cake is always moist, and the icing is so creamy (never granular or dried out, which I have experienced at other cupcake shops in London). And the decorating is just lovely; it makes a very pretty presentation.
I don't live in London anymore (probably for the best considering my cupcake habit), but when I am in town I always make sure to stop in at Razzle Dazzle to pick up one or a dozen. I think the price is very reasonable. I cannot find a comparable value in Toronto - cupcakes here are usually the same price or more expensive, but always much smaller in size.
My favourites would have to be the raspberry and any of the liquor flavoured icings (baileys? Yes please!), but above all I love the blueberry cupcake with cream cheese icing. Perfection!
