I've stopped by here for lunch one time and ordered the butter chicken to go and it was a bit too dry.   I'm not sure if there's a curtain time of the day when they make the next new patch but I had dried chicken for lunch and not butter chicken :(

I also felt that the place was kind of greasy and dirty, you can see all the dust on the windows and doors...

Wow, how ave I not reviewed this place yet? I really love Rasoi for their yummy inexpensive food, big portions and late hours. It's my first choice for fast food.

I love their samosa - they're big and crispy and packed full of good stuff and for $.99 for the veggie ones you really can't go wrong. Thy are a little variable from day to day - I've had ones that were quite spicy and others that were very mild, but they're always delicious, and the tamarind sauce is fabulous (make sure to ask for sauce if you're getting take-out - they often don't put it in the bag automatically.)

The meat samosas are also good, though also variable - I generally stick with the veggie ones, as I've had meat samosas that seemed to have very, very little meat in them.

I quite enjoy the combos if I'm wanting more than just a snack. They come with a samosa and a drink and one combo is usually enough for two meals for me - the portion is very generous. I the chick pea curry is very nice and I like the butter chicken too.

This is mostly a takeout place - they do have a counter with seats and I've sat in the shisha bar to eat before, but I usually just get my food to go.

My only real complaint about this place is that they can be a little stingy with the tamarind sauce for the samosas - if I have five samosas in my order I'd like more than one tiny container of sauce, and the one time I asked for extras they wanted to charge me $1 for each extra container, which seemed a little ridiculous since that's how much the samosas cost (plus they have squeeze bottles of the sauce on the counter for if you're eating in.) Since then I've just placed separate orders for each person if I'm getting a whole bunch of samosas for a group, but it' inconvenient to have to do so.

Note, if you're going during Ramadan call ahead for their hours as they were closed for part of the holiday.

You can't front on Tandoori Tuesday--two pieces of tandoori chicken, a samosa, and a soda for $2.99! It's a small take-out place that has a great menu board and unbeatable prices. Great selection of Pakistani sweets as well.

Lost a star because they're not open late--otherwise this spot would be perfect.

This s a cool little place mostly set up for take out, but there a a few places to sit. We went it to pick up a few 10 Veg samosa still $0.99, and some nan bread to compliment a meal. The samosa were very good, served hot, not overly greasy and well spiced, the only complaint was they were mostly potato. The dipping sauce for them is also very good, but we did not get enough of it. I plan one day soon to take get in there to try one of the lunch deals which look well priced, and if the samosa is an example should be delicious.

The dozen samosas for $5.99 is a great deal, and the samosas are sooo good. This wouldn't be my first choice if I was craving curry, but their curry and combos are fine. Their samosas, though, mmmmm. Cheap and delicious!
