Quick and delicious. The place I go to satisfy my Bi Bim Bap crave *thumbs up*

Food: With the amount of garlic that is in Korean food, it can't not be delicious :) Having said that, it's good but won't blow you out of the water.
i.Heart: Bi Bim Bap and Seafood Pankcake. Soju Mae (i.e. Plum Soju) is my favourite Korean drink.

Ambiance: Wooden seats and dim lighting, plastered with Korean drinking ads, oh how iHeart Asianness. Casual and cool, good place for late night bite.

Service: Waitresses are friendly and attentive. Always there to refill your Soju cup.

I was warned that this Korean place wasn't good.. why did I not listen?!!!

When you first walk in you will get SMACK in the FACE with the fried mackerel smell. I don't like mackerel, so the smell was unpleasant for me. My table ordered a lot of food and none of the food tasted memorable.

The fried chicken was SUPER BLAND!! If i was eating this blindfolded I wouldn't even know I was eating chicken; I also thought that the batter they used for the fried chicken was weird. The kimchi yaki udon was alright; it was pretty spicy and the udon had a nice chewy texture, but I had better. The seafood udon had a nice flavourful soup base, but the udon was so soft and mushy. The fried shrimp is just like the tempera shrimp, but this is bland and the weird batter was used on this too. The fried gyoza was super greasy. All I tasted was pork and grease. My inside feels all greased out still! The seafood pancake is typical and definitely unmemorable.

SKIP THIS JOINT AND GO FOR SOME BBT INSTEAD! THIS PLACE ISN'T WORTH YOUR $$!

Open until 1 or 2AM on most nights.  Food was decent but pricey - my buddy and I are still confused how we spent $50/head and were neither full nor drunk.

    What's good:
    - open late to get your drink on
    - every table gets free fried mackerel - this was tasty
    - seafood pancake was crispy and delicious

    What sucks a fat nut:
    - no draft beer - it's pretty much just mega-brewery bottles like Kokanee - lots of Korean groups like a pile of bottles off to the side.  But if they only had some draft, this will make it a much more appropriate drinkhole.
    - unagi robatayaki - it's pretty hard to screw up unagi, but I was pretty underwhelmed
    - soju cocktail is $22/pot... and it comes in a regular sized teapot.  I know soju is light on alcohol.  But I could not taste any alcohol at all - and it was pretty pricey.

Would probably avoid coming here again - but options are pretty limited in this area for good places to drink and get your snacks on.

    Rakuraku... you failed to Rak-me-Rak-me.
