Review from Jennifer M.

Discount "first run" movie theatre located in downtown London inside "Citi Plaza" aka Galleria London. The seats aren't stadium style so limited leg room & comfort. Cup holders are on the seat backs in front of you. Sound system okay. A few theatres were "split" so they are smaller than normal. Kitschy graphics for "coming soon" & "feature presentation" bits. I don't do the concession, but I've heard their popcorn is not great. Decent place to see a movie on the cheap, especially if you live close to downtown and don't drive.

Review from Shaun R.

No offense to anyone or to Rainbow Cinema in general, I mean I'm all for local businesses and not just massive chains like Cineplex everywhere, but this place is just fail in so many ways. I mean there is nothing to tell you that this place is not falling down into the pits and eventually go the way of the dodo.
I guess a plus is that they have daytime matinees which come to $4.20 to watch any movie which isn't bad. But then you get into the theatre and you start to question why you even bothered coming here. I mean the screen is probably 1/3rd of the ones at say Silver City or the new Cineplex in westmount. The seats are in the old style, not "stadium" style like Jennifer said so if you happen to be sitting behind a really tall person or maybe a group of really tall people, good luck seeing anything.
And then you go to the concessions and it costs more than Cineplex (well probably about the same price) for a tiny bag of crap popcorn that they only let you refill once!? I mean not like I would get more than one refill anyways, but still other theatre's don't do that. I thought the sound sucked, it was barely loud enough to hear anything, but then again maybe I'm just used to Silver City's deafeningly loud sound. And the picture looked old and outdated even for such a tiny screen. Probably won't come here again I dunno doubtful, I think I'll just stick with the corporate giant that is Cineplex Odeon.
Oh one plus I guess, they do also validate parking at the box office, so if you drive there, you can park like two steps away in the parking tower for free, and then you can check out the 3 stores in the Citi Plaza.
