This is the French name of the CBC (Canadian Broadcasting Corporation). The headquarters of the CBC/Radio-Canada are located in Ottawa, ON. The main English production city is Toronto, ON and the main French production city is Montréal.
The Société Radio Canada operates in French:
- a general purpose television network (main station: CBFT-2, Montréal)
- a all news television network (RDI) available via cable and satellite service
- 2 radio services (one general, used to be on the AM but now on the FM band and a cultural radio service on 100.7 FM).
The SRC also is a participant on:
- Radio-Canada International (short waves radio)
