I actually have a soft spot for Quiznos, as far as fast food goes. I got hooked on their turkey/bacon/guacamole sub years ago.  It's no longer on their menu, but I asked for it at this location and the ladies there were more than happy to make it for me.

The sub was everything I remembered. Toasty, gooey with guac and just the right amount of crunch. I sat in to eat it, and the place was very clean and pretty quiet mid-day. It was a peaceful sandwich experience, ready for me to consume quickly and with as many free hot peppers as I desired.

Many an argument has been had over the quality of sandwich from Quiznos, Subway and Mr.Sub, each participant having their say in what makes a great sandwich.  Honestly, you can make a better sandwich at home, if you have a set of hands and the know how to make a (gasp!) sandwich.  Didn't we all live off of these during college/university/being broke...and maybe we still do?

Regardless, I am here to write about Quiznos in Tinseltown.  While my boyfriend remains loyal to this place, I have found Quiznos to have dropped significantly in quality over the years, or maybe it is just this location?  I don't care much to research further on this because fast food sandwiches are not my bag anymore, and this one in particular has been violently crossed off my list (or added to the one of places never to go to again).  The staff here shows as much enthusiasm for their job as expected, but their disdain and apathy seems to have been transferred directly to their sandwich-making technique: that being, not listening to what the customer actually wants.  In my books, this isn't very effective.

Now my other half claims he has never had an issue with his sandwich and while I might be inclined to hear him out on this, I hesitate because he will inhale most anything and isn't nearly as picky about his eats as I am.  I ordered a sandwich from here once and in a shockingly similar situation to my Subway debacle, they managed to screw up my veggie sandwich while making my boyfriend's more complicated sandwich perfectly.

Obviously, no more fast food sandwiches for me, thanks.
