I dropped by the Quiznos in Scotia Square to grab one of my favourite sandwiches, the torpedo. Well the menu has changed and this was one of the options they dropped!
The staff here know me and told me they actually had a couple torpedo buns left. They offered to make up a turkey club so I took them up on it. At 3.99 plus tax this was one of the best deals on the menu.
The staff here are friendly and helpful and I know they will help me find my new favourite sandwich. -

I'd always fathomed Quizno's to be something like a gourmet version of Subway-- subs and sandwiches with an extra zing. The concept sounds promising, however, the chain sandwich stop hardly compares to something one could find at a locally owned cafe or restaurant.
My Scotia Square Quizno's experience was a choice mainly due to time limitations and convenience of locale. However, this was a chance to get a first hand take on the franchise itself.
The menu seems to look far more lush than the actual product. I purchased the veggie, which came with guacamole, black olives, red peppers, mushrooms, cheese and a red wine vinagerette. This sounded pretty good! Unfortunately, the actual sandwich lacked the flavour and zest I'd envisioned. Where was the guacamole? I could hardly taste the dressing. The whole thing was very dry and bland. Not even super bread.
The ingredients seemed fresh and the service was efficient, but I wouldn't go for this again. Perhaps the meat sandwiches are a bit better, but for the price and taste, this was not worth it. I'd rather hop into a local cafe for a quality bite and a good atmosphere. -

Quiznos Subs is located in Scotia Square Food Court. It is towards the end , so you have to actually look for it or you will miss it. We were working in the area and popped in for lunch.
I am not a super fan of Quiznos, I am not sure if it is the limited menu or what, however my co-worker wanted a sub and this fit the bill.
The staff were were nice and no issues there. My friend liked the sub and I had a taste, it is just average for me, but they liked it a lot.
