I'm sure the ongoing battle between Subway and Quiznos (Battle of the Bun?) won't be ending anytime soon, and it creates a bit of a conflict having both a Subway AND a Quiznos in the same plaza, located so closely to where you live. Decisions!
Lets get right down to it. With these 2 locations in particular, Subway is by far the more, ahem, ghetto. It just attracts a crowd of noisy hooligans (and like that, I've become my father), which isn't the end of the world. When I go to Quiznos, it always seems more relaxing and cleaner. On the other hand, their service seems to be a little worse than Subway's. I dont know, sometimes they just seem distracted, and I have to repeat myself. With Subway, you get a little more bun, and you can see them preparing it. With Quiznos, I've always found it odd that the counter is like a sub pharmacy, and you can't see what the hell's going on with your sub until it's in the toaster.
As for the sandwiches themselves, I've always thought Quiznos' bread and toppings were more fresh and flavourful.
You really can't go wrong either way, but I think in the end, Quiznos has the edge.
