I love this small but mighty store.  It's very well stocked with duvets, blankets and throws, sheet sets, etc. in all kinds of colours, patterns, and styles.  It also has a cute selection of children's blankets, bathrobes, slippers, stuffed toys and more.  Their minky berber throws (velour-like material on one side, white, fluffy, soft-as-a-cloud lining on the other) are perfect for snuggling under while watching tv or getting lost in a good book.  And they are SO warm, it's wonderful, especially if you're someone who's always cold, like me.

I have been in this store quite a few times over the past year, and have always found the staff to be very friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable.  Their prices are also quite affordable compared to the competition, and they tend to have a lot of sales, especially around the holidays, so they can be a good place to pick up some Christmas gifts.

Saturday afternoon - The Mister and I came in looking for a proper fitted sheet for our bed, which is a bit of an uncommon size. We were greeted rather promptly by a very knowledgeable woman who was more than happy to dig through a pile of sheet sets until she found the correct size - to be fair, we probably would  have never have found them without her help.

A word of warning, though . After we bought the sheet, we stepped out for a moment to discuss duvet options without being dogged by the sales staff. We decided we were looking for a queen size wool duvet, and went back in. However! As soon as we returned, NO ONE would pay attention to us. The one woman in particular we had been talking to had disappeared for the time being and had been replaced with an older lady who obviously had zero interest in helping us with anything. We spent about ten minutes browsing duvet covers, clearly looking for assistance, while the sales woman spoke with another customer - offering to spread certain covers she liked out on the bed for a better look, etc, while we did not get the same option. We did not find anything we liked, so went off to actually take the duvet down from the shelves so we could purchase it and leave. While we were looking for the Queen size, the woman SHOUTED AT US from across the store, ran up with a false-cheery voice and said "Oh, What are you doing??". I'm not sure what she thought we were doing, other than trying to get our bloody duvet, but we were curtly informed there were no more of that size, and we would need to place a special order - and then abandoned once more! The older woman stalked off to the other side of the store to talk to ... no one.

On the upside, the other lady whom we had been speaking with earlier had come back at that point, so we ordered the duvet with her.

It is worth noting that I feel we received rather poor treatment from this older woman due to our age - I doubt she was actually expecting two young twenty-somethings to buy anything. Hah! I hope her coworker enjoys the $300-odd dollars worth of commission instead!

This store doesn't only carry quilts, although it does have some very nice ones hanging from the walls. I went here for the duvets/comforters. Compared to Sears, Quilts etc. has a higher quality, lower priced, and intensely more easily navigated selection, so shopping here instead was an obvious decision.
I needed something for my new twin bed, and with the friendly help of the sales lady, I ended up with the student special on sale - only 30 bucks for a microfibre comforter. The outside was polyester, but I had a cotton cover to put over it anyway.
There were lots of other duvets of various price and quality hanging from the walls, so you could actually feel what you were getting. I know I'll come back here when I can afford something a little more pricey to sleep under.
