I really love their prawn korma. I judge all kormas against theirs.
I've been here around five times in two years for dine in dinners and always order the prawn korma.
The food is between four to five stars, the cleanliness is maybe three. The furniture, carpet, and decorations are old. Do you remember around two years ago there was a boiled water advisory and it was a big deal because coffee shops even had to use bottled water to make coffee? Well, during the boiled water advisory, our server actually served us the brown tap water from her clear water jug! She didn't even SEE that the water was brown (with particles). That was a major major turn off! Every table had wine or beer that day, it was actually pretty funny.
I've had their dosas, which are good, but kind of a waste as the filling was in the center fifth, the rest was just the batter.
Will be back next time I'm in town, for the prawn korma, of course. -

Quilon is one of those unexpected gems. They are famous for their dosas however all their other dishes are equally charming and delicious.
The funny thing is if you blink you can miss it. Strange for a business located right on No. 3 road the main road through Richmond. It's inset from the curb quite a bit and the awning blends right into the corner store next to it.
Definitely stop in, the pricing isn't all that much but the food is certainly big on taste.
