Pssst: want some cheap American Apparel basics? Yeah, this is your place. Shirts and shorts and tanks and tees, Quick Nickel's got yo' back. Food and drink have this annoying tendency to be attracted to my clothes, and this is an easy solution.
Bathing suits in the summer, short shorts in the fall, a few cheap-o tops and jumpers and dresses that are trendy in the way Jersey Shore-types might like, this place kinda has it all.
Of note: exchange only, within 10 days. But whatever, at these prices you're not going to break the bank if you miss the deadline.

You know, I've visited this place probably about five times, and every time have been whelmed (is that a word?) by the great selection of varied stuff and the prices. It's great! But... how great? Because though I've been there five times and have always found stuff that's pretty good for the price, I've never actually liked anything enough to buy it. And I'm a bargain shopper.
Oh well. Great place to find basics. -

I have such a weak spot for this place. Whenever I come to English Bay I find myself drifting toward TQN to find me a deal. Brands like Kensie, American Apparel, Groggy, etc., are sold here at hugely discounted prices. The cheap sunglasses, cute jewelry, bathing suits are uber cute too!
Located just across the street from the BIG Starbucks at Davie/Denman.

Located right near the beach, it's a handy store if you happened to forget your bathing suit that day. Otherwise, they offer a plethora of clothing, brand name, at discount prices, like American Apparel and Kensie. I ended up picking up a flowy top, Kensie shorts, and this very cute floral dress from Quick Nickel a while back and have worn those items to death. You might have to dig around in the racks for a bit to find something you like but trust me, it's worth it.

Ok, so I am one of those people obsessed with the simplicity of American Apparel clothes. I like the V-neck tees and the hoodies. I have a lot of stuff from there but it's so damn expensive.. Then I found the Quick Nickel. Guess what?.. they have A.A. clothing as well as other brand name stuff at pretty much half the price. Cheap = Better in cases like this. Just save some for me please.
