Review from Lauren N.
I'm giving Queue three stars as a generous rating, because they have some really nice stuff. But if it were solely about the shopping experience, it would have been two stars!
I was just beginning to look, when the sales-guy rushes up to me and asks if he can show me something, pulling out a edgy black dress. So what was I supposed to say? Uh-huh ... that's nice. Actually, that's pretty much what I did say, and I almost felt bad about it, because his expression looked so deflated after that. I think he knew he wasn't going to squeeze any commission out of me, so he left me alone.
Another salesgirl approached me shortly afterward, but I had to give her the "not interested" look. You have to be firm with them here; don't let them sucker you into buying a $100 t-shirt.
It's pretty pricey here at Queue, although the clothes are very modern and retro chic. I loved the dresses they had by the Akika line, but of course, I can't afford it. They have lots of cool graphic t-shirts, jeans, and jackets for both guys and gals. There are leather jackets too, most of them starting at around $400 and going up from there. For jewelry, they carry Hugo Boss and Lacoste watches.
I also didn't like how everything in the store was crammed in, there was barely any space to walk. A full store is one thing, but there should at least be some concept of walking space for customers. They shouldn't have to squeeze past all the racks. Unless everyone is meant to be a size 00, in which case that would make sense.
While some of the stuff here was pretty nice, it's a bit too over the top for me. Where would I wear this stuff to in Edmonton? Plus, I hate being bombarded by salespeople, so this was a one-time experience for me. -

This store is pretty lame and tries too hard to be cool. Yah, they have some good stuff, but its way over priced and the sales staff are snobby.
The owners are rude as well, and think way too highly of themselves.
I definetly wouldnt recomend this place to anyone -

What's with this place? Most of the clothing is over the top and the staff is all over you. I like getting good input from staff and I like when they're helpful but here, they are just pushy and clearly trying to make some sales.
The guys clothing has try hard written all over it. It's things like Ed Hardy, that every guy who wants to look cool buys but really has no idea what looks good and what doesn't. Don't get me started on the prices, $100 t-shirts, $300 jackets, unbelievable. If you do see something you like here check around at other places because you will be able to find it and probably for cheaper. -

Queue has now in fact become Queue and Sophia's for all of you who go looking for Sophia's nowadays, they've moved in. In terms of clothing Queue definitely has some good stuff, espescially jeans. They carry True Religion, Rock and Republic, many styles of William Rast, Robin's jeans and others. Yes the prices are high, if you know this already and you can't afford it, please don't go back just to exclaim over high prices.
The store is a family-operated business which also owns FS skate shop, Method, Deja Vu, and Soular in Edmonton. Three brothers from the family run different stores and Haf is the brother who runs Queue and Sophia's. The salespeople are incredibly pushy and will always be trying to show you a new style or trying to start you a changeroom. There are always far too many people working for the amount of customers in the store and the workers are in constant competition which definitely comes across. As a general shopping experience, if you know you want to buy, and Queue and Sophia's definitely has regular customers, go shopping there but as a casual browsing store I would take a pass.
P.S. For everyone who commented that the workers must be on commission to be so pushy I'll let you know they're not. They don't make any commission but they still have to act like that because they are under constant threat from Haf, the brother who runs the store, to sell a large amount otherwise they will be fired. And it is a reality because many good workers do get fired because they didn't have a good day sales-wise. I know because I worked there, I didn't get fired I quit but I just thought people should know the working conditions and stop being rude to the salespeople who are just trying to save their jobs. -

I find Queue Clothing store amusing. First of all, sales associates deserve a medal for being the pushiest in town. Really, these guys must be working on commissions here. As soon as you set your foot inside, you will be bombarded with questions, clarifications about ongoing promotions and offered clothes in your size. Calm down, I am just browsing... Be careful about picking up any items or you will be practically dragged into the changing room to try it on.
The second thing that I found amusing is that all clothes look cheaper than they actually cost. I mean who wants to pay $100 for a T shirt with the scull on it? I browsed the selection of menswear very intently and think that most items are too over the top. The majority of items are by Ed Hardy. He may be the go-to designer for trendy guys who are in the know about fashion, but for guys who prefer more restrained styles, his designs may be too flashy. My husband didn't pick a single item to his liking. In fact, he was the one who kept asking that we leave as soon as possible.
In addition to Ed Hardy clothes, Queue sells Canada Goose jackets and anoraks, and Juicy Couture and Paige jeans for the ladies. At the front of the store there are expensive men's watches on display. I didn't even bother checking the price which I am sure is obscene. -

As men become more fashion-conscious, stores like Queue step up and stand out among a line of more mainstream clothing outlets for men. Queue is run by fashion lovers who rove the world looking for the hippest looks, so Edmonton men don't have to go to New York, Paris or L.A. to buy the fashions that'll keep them looking sharp and edgy. I like browsing men's stores like this to look for stuff my guy would look good in. In most cases, he'd gawk at the price tag and that would be it. (But that can't stop me from gifting!) Cool men's threads or so expensive though. This store has lots of arty, cool tees, mountains of denim, belts, jackets, hats, sweaters, running shoes, watches by well-known names like jack and jones, extreme couture, affliction, dom rebel, evisu, ed hardy, fresh jive, j.lindeberg and belstaff. There's also a women's side to this store, parallel fashions - the tees, denim, belts and accessories - a his 'n' hers hipster emporium. What I didn't like was how every staff member seemed to home in on me as I walked into the store. With dollar signs in their hungry eyes, I was bombarded by each person in my 5-minute browsing expedition at Queue, which would have been longer, if I hadn't felt like they might pressure me into buying something I didn't really want. I just LOOKED at a coat and touched it longer than 3 seconds and the first girl told me there was a big mirror at the back I could see myself in, wearing this fabulous coat; and if I wanted, she'd be MORE THAN happy to start me a change room ... they must be working on commission here.
