This place is so close to me, it's almost too convenient.
It's the lazy little brother of Queen's Pasta Café (which is just around the corner on Bloor). It's a great thing if you're entertaining and you want to make something easy and homemade feeling (so you can take all the credit). Or it's for those nights when you don't feel like eating around people, or getting dressed up or maybe, in my case, don't feel like getting out of the pajamas you've worn all day and refuse to change out of.
I've said too much.
The important thing is that they have great homemade sauces and pastas that are ready for you to take home, make by yourself, and eat huddled in a corner shut out from the world (again, too much).
It's really not about me, it's about the pasta. And this is pasta at its very best, no matter which way you choose to enjoy it.Listed in: My Neighborhood
