I walked into Queen's Park Florists yesterday to order two arrangements for delivery today (Administrative Professionals' Day). We discussed my budget and the shop owner asked me a couple of questions to help give her an idea of what I was looking for (Did I want a full or modern arrangement? Subtle tones or bright and cheerful colours?), and then I left my order in their very capable hands.
Queen's Park Florists has a variety of vases and vessels on-hand and they offer bouquets, floral arrangements and potted plants as well. This shop specializes in fresh, clean-looking and sophisticated floral arrangements, which means you won't see any tacky carnations or baby's breath (hallelujah). They also have an impressive selection of artfully potted succulents which they sell at very reasonable prices.
The flowers were delivered to my office today on-time and they are absolutely gorgeous. I cannot compliment the shop owners enough for their beautiful and tasteful arrangements. I was very impressed with the result they were able to achieve with my relatively modest budget. Their prices aren't the cheapest, but their arrangements are worth absolutely every penny.
Since today is Administrative Professionals' Day, I should mention that there are a few arrangements floating around my office from other local shops. While the arrangements I purchased aren't the biggest or flashiest, I would say that the flowers from Queen's Park Florists are by far the most sophisticated and tasteful.
I wouldn't hesitate to use this florist again for deliveries in New Westminster. Thank you Queen's Park Florist! -

I am in Wedding Planning hell and today was my day to finally get down to the flowers. Svetlana at Queen's Park Florist made me feel so much better about the whole thing and kept it within my budget range.
A few days ago I emailed the shop to inquire about starting the whole process and to be honest I was prepared to spend a billion hours in there. Needless to say that wasn't even close to my experience. I was in and out in 15 minutes and felt like she really understood what I was looking for and want for my bouquets and boutonnieres.
I will obviously be adding more as my experiences progress with this company but so far I am a very happy camper.
UPDATE:
Wow, they did an AMAZING job on the bouquets and boutineers. When I get the photos I will post them to show. I would definitely recommend them to any bride!
