The food here is definitely very good and would have earned this place 4 stars in my books if everything else was up to par.
I had a few gift certificates which made the price bearable, however if I were to have paid full price I probably wouldn't return. The lunch pricing seems a bit better however.
Atmosphere is decent, it seems a little out of place in Richmond however it tries to go for the trendy upscale look but something is a little off.
Despite being dead the evening I went, there was just a single waitress that basically ran the customer facing part of the restaurant. Seemed like there was one chef in the back and that was it.
She would play bartender, server and everything else. Unfortunately even just the 2 or 3 tables that were there was too overwhelming for her.
If this place upped the service level, it would definitely be much better. -

Last time I passed by, I didn't notice the signs for this establishment which only leads me to believe it's already gone. Not a huge loss, given my last visit here was met with poor service, below average food and a fairly large bill. Typical Asian cafe style food that bills itself (and you) as fine dining, with plenty of superior competition around town probably sealed its fate. Being a restauranteur is a tough racket, I suppose.
