Review from Chad W.
Calgary, AB
As Highway 2 winds its way through our city, it becomes Deerfoot Trail. This high-volume motorway sees upwards of 100,000 cars per hour during rush-hour and can get backed-up, especially in the winter.
However, during non-peak times, this is the quickest way to get from the south end of the city to the north. It is also the route you must take to get to the city's airport. Again, this can get extremely backed up. But if you're there at the right time, there's no reason why you can't traverse the entire city in about 15 minutes.
This beast has three lanes and would be one of the best roads in Alberta if slow people didn't enjoy driving in the left lane so much.
